How do I clean up spilled wax from an at-home hair removal kit?

I used Sally Hansen's at-home spa wax and spilled a lot of it on my tile floor and now I can't remove it. Do you know of any substance that would dissolve it or harden it so it can be removed? How do I clean up spilled wax from an at-home hair removal kit?
OIL! baby oil, olive oil, cooking oil.How do I clean up spilled wax from an at-home hair removal kit?
you can try drop a bigger puddle of wax on top of it then try to peel it off nicely.

or you can just try heat up that piece of wax on the floor with a lighter and try peel it off.

or some kind of clorox.
use alcohol ! if that doesn't bring it up put a damp towel over it and use an iron, that should melt it enough to come up. then use the alcohol again to remove the rest...

Are there any products... shavers.. creams that make hair to grow back slower? (Not including Waxing)?

Does veet cream and that plastic shaver work well? Are there any products... shavers.. creams that make hair to grow back slower? (Not including Waxing)?
If you want hair to grow back slower don't use a shaver UNLESS you are willing to do it every day. I use hair remover cream on my upper lip because I don't have time to do that everyday. I'm not sure on how it works, but it works! Are there any products... shavers.. creams that make hair to grow back slower? (Not including Waxing)?
Epilators?
GiGiHONEE Slow Grow Skin Maintenance Lotion.

It maintains youthful, healthy-looking skin and helps reduce hair re-growth. Just apply it after shaving/waxing/using depilatory creams. Personally I find that using depilatory creams such a veet or nair makes hair grow back slower than shaving. Hope I've helped.

  • Does waxing really make arm hair grow back finer...?

Is this just a myth or does it really work? I am thinking about waxing my arms because I don't think applying chemicals onto my skin frequently to bleach my arms is a good idea.

I have long dark hair on my arms. I am fair skinned at the moment (usually tanned).

Please tell me, does the hair (after 1st time home waxing) gorw back worse than before (colour and thickness)?

Please know what you're talking about. I hate my hairy arms and also my stomach hair. Would home waxing be the best option? I was thinking about using Nair's resin formulated wax which you heat up, use a spatula to smooth it on the skin and the wax hardens and forms its own strip. The hair only has to be 2mm thick. I was also thinking about using those wax strips (no heating up etc). What should I use?Does waxing really make arm hair grow back finer...?
Hey buddy, I got my arm hair removed and since then it as came back way hairier and longer. Don't remove it unless you want to keep removing it.Does waxing really make arm hair grow back finer...?
Removing the hair encourages a blood supply to the skin which will initially 'feed' the hair more and make it grow back thicker and darker. However over time, as you are removing the hair from the root, it does go back finer. I suggest that if you really need to remove the hair anyway, just do it.
not sure about thinner but definately slower and if you do it for long enough the hair never grows back xxx
Well it's not going to happen after the 1st time and it does get thinner what happens is when you was hair off of your body you are ripping it from the follicle (the base from which hair grows), thereby damaging making it unable to grow anymore. So less hair grows back over time which can appear to look like its thinner, it's just not as much. Overtime (we are talking years here) the hair will stop growing all together as you would have damaged every follicle.
i think it makes it thicker atleast on my eyebrows anyways
Don't use the wax no heat strips! If u do don't press down too hard. My mom thought she would try it and it ripped her upper layer of skin off. I use the heat in the microwave stuff that forms its own strip. I like it. I do my eyebrows and my legs. I don't have to go to a salon and be embarrassed.

Does waxing continuosly stop or slows d growth of body hair?

It slows it down for a longer time than shavingDoes waxing continuosly stop or slows d growth of body hair?
waxing delays the new hair growth better than shaving .. but it cannot permanently stop the hair growth ....Does waxing continuosly stop or slows d growth of body hair?
The more you wax the finer and softer the hair come back. Everytime you wax you are damaging the hair blub and over time hair may stop to grow back. Also your hair grows in cycles so hair may be grown in after only a few weeks but it will take many months for all your hair to come back in.
No matter what any body tells you (a good beauty therapist will tell you the truth), it doesn't. It is all a myth.

The hair takes a longer time to grow back because it is pulled out at the roots but it still grows at the same rate in the same amount and may feel softer because it is not cut off but pulled out.

    Hope that helps
Actually, as a matter of fact, waxing speeds up the process of the growth. After you get it done, it may look all nice and hairless... but it can grow back even thicker and quicker so you're going to have to CONSTANTLY go to the spa to get it waxed often which is a big hastle. I suggest you not wax at all.. keep it natural!

    Women; shaving/waxing your pubic hair..?

Well... My mother says to never shave down there, so I can't ask her anything about it. I'm an only child so I don't have anyone else to ask. I've never had a bikini wax, so I don't know what to expect, and that makes me too nervous to do that. When I shave its not smooth at all. To me it seems like men are half and half when it comes to shaved or unshaved, so I don't know whether or not I should. I guess I need some womanly advice here about getting waxed, or suggestions on shaving.Women; shaving/waxing your pubic hair..?
It depends on your personal taste. I prefer bare--as I think most younger women do these days. I would not worry that much what the guys think--though I think most of them also prefer bare.

What I like is it it makes me feel cleaner, sexier and just more of a woman. And I just think it looks nicer--I hate that disgusting term ';beaver';--but I understand where it came from.

I started shaving. But I had problems with it breaking out (I am fair skinned). And like you say--with shaving it is not all that smooth--you really need to do it every three days or so. Waxing is great--though the first time it does hurt a bit. But there is no doubt in my mind that is the way to go.Women; shaving/waxing your pubic hair..?
Waxing is definitely the way to go, but it hurts, and I have a pretty high tolerance for pain. Waxing is easier, lasts longer, and isn't expensive. But be sure you have a really great moisturizer for afterwards.
get it waxed hair grows back less and it takes time for it to grow back. dermatologists recommend waxing.
id say shave, but to trim, do not go against the hair growth, go with it.. this way it thins the hair and u rnt left with that uncomfotable jaggy feeling, tho u should shave ur bikini line!! because it doenst be jaggy afterwards if u apply moisturiser!! good luck!!
It hurts the first time but after that you get immune to it I guess, lol. It's much bette tha nshaving in my opinion and lasts about 3 weeks, costing between $25-$70 depending on what kind of wax you get. Don't ever get the DIY ones! They suck! Good luck! ^_^
Waxing hurts. but last longer. Shaving takes getting used to. Pull skin tight and that makes it easier to shave. it'll be rough %26amp; itchy but in time it gets better.
Please don't listen to you Mother...that 70's bush is out. It doesn't have to be fully shaved but trimmed/manicured nice and neat is much better than that overgrown natural shrub look. Not being funny here but maybe it would help to look at an issue of playboy or something.

PS: Hey ';ME'; she says she's an only child...not only a child...geez try actually reading these things.
You should definitely try getting it waxed, just to see if you like it. It'll grow back, you know? You can either get it waxed all the way (brazilian) or leave some. I like the way that looks and feels but I find it's too expensive to get it waxed all the time, so I just shave with a good razor. Not as smooth but cheaper and you don't have to make an appointment!
I don't recommend completely shaven. I use a men's trimmer. It gets it pretty close, but it doesn't look like a two year old. Just be careful, you can nick yourself...use the guard.
Wow did you say you're only a child? How old are you? 14? 15? Why are you even thinking about it? Worry about other things that are more important like SCHOOL! But, if you really have to know...I think trimming is the best thing to do.
OwWwWwWwWwWw i wouldn't get it waxed that would jus kill me....jus trim it =) a lot less painfull
I recommend trimming vs. either of those options that way it is not rough like shaving can make it but you don't have to go through the pain of waxing. They make some great cheap bikini trimmers.
i just trim. most guys don't really care, and it saves a whole lot of time.

It should be less as there is nothing for the bacteria to live on.. A good tip is mix a drop of tea tree oil to your plain moisturiser and rub in. It stings a bit but completely kills bacteria. there is no permanent waxing.

you have to do it again and again

//Is permanent waxing of body hair harmful??how costly is it??...and any precautions needed after that??
There's no such thing as permanent waxing. Waxing just yanks the hair out by the roots; it still grows back, just takes longer for it to be visible, since it has to grow the extra length below the skin that shaving doesn't touch.

Permanent hair removal is laser or electrolysis, and even those can fail (facial hair, for example, can be tough to permanently get rid of). Laser isn't cheap, or quick -- usually you have to go 4-6 times, several weeks apart, since hair grows in cycles, and you want to catch all the hair follicles during their growth cycles for it to be effective. (You basically fry the hair follicle, using the hair in it to conduct heat from the laser into the follicle itself; so you have to have hair in it to work.) Prices vary depending on what area you're having done; smaller areas take less time and so cost less, for example. Upper lip or eyebrow might be $600-$800, while lower legs might be $1500-$2000. Check with local laser hair removal clinics for pricing in your area.Is permanent waxing of body hair harmful??how costly is it??...and any precautions needed after that??
permanent waxing is really harmful as it closes the pores of the body stopping the prespiration to get hold inside the body itself which may get worst in the days to come. Thus better avoid.
Don't do it if you have a low immune system (you can get an infection). Otherwise, not that I know of.

itseems waxing and other stuufs are painful.are there any other homely or which can be prepared in home and are less painful. Is there any homely tip for hair removal except waxing and other stuffs which are painful?
    You could try epilating.

It's a little painful but it isn't really all that painful if the hair is really fine and short. Is there any homely tip for hair removal except waxing and other stuffs which are painful?
    laser
i think that waxing is most easy way to get rid of un wanted hair.i personaly do wax. i prepare it in home because the wax that is availible in markets is not as much good as it should be.if you will do wax continusly soon you will noticed that now your hair growth is less as compare to past.

Veet depilitory(check spelling) cream. It doesn't smell that loud and it's totally painless.
apply Channa Dal powder mixed with curds everyday for 2 hours. May be u can apply and go to sleep.
When you start waxing or epilating, it hurts. But every time you do it, it hurts less. After 6 months of doing it every two weeks, you won't feel pain any more, just a bit of pulling.

Epilating is a better start than waxing I think, later it won't matter. Most epilators have two modes, a soft one and a fast one. Use the soft for the beginning, it causes less pain.

This applies to legs and arms, armpits and bikini zone would always hurt, and besides, you can get a lymph node inflammation there if you use methods which pull the hairs out. So you should use a razor there.

For legs, you can shave them too, but this makes your hairs bigger and thicker (unlike wax/epilator), and they grow back way too fast after shaving.

Using chemicals is not much better than shaving, and it can cause bad skin irritations, I won't recommend it.

Laser is expensive, and more painful than a tattoo, and you have to do it many times in the same area before the hairs are gone forever.
    stay as it is
Nair for women or men. It comes in a roll on. It doesn't last as long as waxing because it removes the hair just below the skin rather from the root like waxing.
    use veet
You cud try Fem or Veet or Ane French cream. They are totally painless.

Why is waxing best way to remove leg hair?

it pulls it out at the root so it doesn't grow back as fast and eventually if you do it long enough the amount of leg hair gets smaller and smaller until one day (if you have been doing it A LOT) you may not need to wax/shave at allWhy is waxing best way to remove leg hair?
Hi.. waxing seems to be the best because it pulls out the root which means the hair has to grow longer above your skin, and hence it takes longer to do that. So, you are ';fuzz free'; for a lot longer. Also, when shaving, you cut the hair straight across the top so it appears coarser. With waxing, the tip of the hair is like a thin paint brush - tapered to a thin point - so it doesn't appear to be so coarse and rough. Why is waxing best way to remove leg hair?
It removes the root of the hair. The root grows back, but it takes longer compared to shaving, where the hair just continues to grow out from under the surface of skin =)
BECOZ IT COMES SMOOTH AFTER WAXING

IF YOU HAVE CAPABLE OF ENDURANCE OF IT THEN DO IT
Because it lasts the longest. If you shave, you usually have to shave again within 2-4 days. If you wax, it could last up to 4-6 weeks!
it gets inside the pores, so the hair takes longer to grow pack. Also, it sometimes pulls out the follicles, so it never grows back
WAXiNG`s the best way, bcuhs your hairs grow slower, and THINNER.

its thinner cuhs it takes the root out.
Because it takes the whole root out.

When yu shave, you only take off the hair that's visible.

Then it groww back really fast.
because the hair won't grow Back faster like shaving

    last longer....
main wax nahi karta aur tu ye larkiyon wale quetion quon puch raha hai
just leave it man, protects your legs when winter comes
    try nair or veet instead

    less painful

    ...
cuz its easier and keeps the hair off longer
    NO IDEA!!!
coz it will take long time to grow

Where can i buy a hair wax stick?

please %26amp; thank you!Where can i buy a hair wax stick?
I don't know if you mean for a guy or girl but it is all wax. I only use the more traditional waxes with the exception of krew comb, which is sort of an emulsified wax, at least the form in the jar. It also comes in a stick form. Krew comb washes out readily and I think all sally beauty supplies carry it. For the traditional control/butch waxes, the only two still made that come in a stick form I am aware of are lucky tiger cru butch and stix fix design polish. Stix fix is about the stiffest wax made; it has a very high beeswax component. Gabel's crew cut is another traditional wax. I believe this is the current rendition of the old LB butch wax; but, I don't think a stick form is currently being manufactured. Gabel's has high lanolin content. The traditional waxes are available at certain barber supply houses, on line and brick and mortar. They are all fairly low cost. If a wax buildup develops or too much is applied, it won't shampoo out readily. So...

    1) Apply straight shampoo to dry hair and lather up before getting in shower.

    2) Rinse hair.

    3) Shampoo again as one normally does.

If the wax is for a husband, boyfriend, son, brother's short haircut.....

Here is how a control wax is applied to groom one of the short pomp styles- crew cut, ivy league(Iong crew cut), flat top crew cut- whichever short pomp style, it's basically the same and takes about a minute or two.

    1) Towel dry hair.

    2) Barely dip fingertips in jar of wax.

    3)Transfer wax to palms.

    4) Smooth palms over hair.

5)Brush hair off forehead to form short pomp front.

    Good Luck!

Hair Removal from legs - substitute for waxing?

hi, can you please suggest how should i remove hair from my legs and hands - should i buy wax strips from drug stores or should i buy a shaver?...if a shaver - cna you please suggest me some good names that i should buy?Hair Removal from legs - substitute for waxing?
Have you tried a depilatory cream, something like ';VEET';?

Its not that complicated to use, just wait a few mins then wash it off in the shower. Alot less painful than waxing.Hair Removal from legs - substitute for waxing?
Waxing- it is very painful and complusory you hv to do it once in a month. OR you can go for hair removal cream- available in all stores like veet, anne french, etc. Not painful and you can do it whenever u want.

If you want to go for shaver, can go for GILLETTE ladies razer. You hv to be careful in applying the machine. There are chances to get wounds and other problems.

Now you decide what you want!!! Enjoy!
if u wanna buy a shaver, braun is a good company. waxing its hard to do it on urself and u'll end up pulling the wax strips very hard which will make marks on ur body
I would go with laser hair removal and then it is gone. You may want to just start with your hands as it would be inexpensive and gone forever. My friend had the hand treatment and is ecstatic. The attached site has more information.
Shaver and actually go to a store and tell them that you are buying one for your hubby or dad or whatever as a present and ask them which is the best and why.

I have no clue please tell me how can we do that. Thank YouHow do you wax your hair?
I would say leave it to the pros and go to the salon. I do. just make sure the person doing it has a good track record or things could get ugly. How do you wax your hair?
First you get a candle. Melt it. Pour. Wait for it to cool. Then peel it off. Good luck!!

Seriously though, if you mean leg/eye brow waxing, get it done professionally at a salon. If you go to one of the Asian ones, it'll run you like $20 bucks for legs and maybe $10 for eyebrows. PLEASE don't wax your own hair.

    If you must use NADS.
Go to a salon or regular store [Rite Aid, Target, etc.] and buy gel wax. Put it into your hands and rub together until the stuff is warm then style the way you want to. My dad is a hair stylist! haha :]

Which is better wax or hair removing cream for the legs and why?

many of my friends tell me to use hair removing cream for the legs but som one else says wax! i use wax but im still not satisfied with the results. my friend uses cream and she says its awsome!!!

HEEELLLPPPPWhich is better wax or hair removing cream for the legs and why?
I am a qualified beaution and i advise you to not use hair removing cream! wax is much better! hair removing cream doesnt remove all of the hairs and can sometimes scar your skin or leave dark patches, whereas with waxing you know that all of the hairs will be removed and you will not get any scars unless the wax is too hot (so test it on your wrist before applying it anywhere) and waxing also leaves lovely smoothe results and hair doesnt grow back in a few days like hair removing cream doesWhich is better wax or hair removing cream for the legs and why?
Some people experience adverse skin reactions to creams due to all the chemicals, you should always do an allergy test before hand. Wax is a good method (although painful) it yanks the hair out right by its follicle so it slows down the hair grows with time and your hair does not grow back thicker. With shaving a lot of people experience thicker re-growth and even when they shave their pores look very large due to the diameter of the hair, so its not a good idea to shave (esp if your hair grows back fast).
y not just shave your legs?

anyway, i heard that the hair removing cream doesnt work. i dont think it would work if you have thick or coarse hair.

A girl i kno gets her eyebrows waxed, she says it hurts the very first time you do it, but not too much afterwards. When u wax, you are getting your results longer, i think wen u use the cream its like shaving where the hair will return quicker
Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods. Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful. Electrolysis and laser hair removal are ';permanent'; hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged. A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://www.hairremoval.in
I used Nair on my legs, and not only did it make 90% of all my hair follicles bleed, it didn't even take all the hair off.

And I followed the directions to a T.

I don't know about wax, I heard it's good. But I think you're better off shaving. Even though it's a pain in the ****
It depends on what kind of wax you're using, but if you're trying the at-home kinds, try Nad's. They have both the strips and the gel..depending on what works better for you.
hair removing cream cuz its healthier for you! not WAX!
    wax is better
wax because your skin can break out with creams

Any other way to get hair off arms w/o waxing?

There's this stuff called Veet. It's like this foam stuff and you put it on your arms. Leave it there for a few minutes and then take it off with a sponge.

don't shave!!!!! hair removing cream is good or you could get body hair bleach to make it lighter and less noticable. whatever you do though don't shave it!!!Any other way to get hair off arms w/o waxing?
You can shave them. My friend shaves her arms and it looks good. Good luck =]
live with it it is normal
yeah, shave or use veet. they r both awesome!

Or that nair stuff girls use. Hair remover creams.
hair removing cream is a better option
i shave mine... its reely not wat people make it out to me.. mind does not grow back in thicker or stubly and not nearly as quick as leg hair.... been doing it for like 8 years...
yeah shave or use veet. Both work fine

Whats a good strong holding or hard gel or wax for hair?

Whats a wax or hair gel that would stay in place all day and not go weak and wear outWhats a good strong holding or hard gel or wax for hair?
the best, NO DOUBT, is spiker by joico. You can pick it up at most salons or beauty supply outlet. It is water resistant, and holds like glue. Its amazing stuff...but it doesn't feel like a rock.

try it. you'll love it!Whats a good strong holding or hard gel or wax for hair?
i know theres this beeswax gel that works good apparently, but its a pain to get out...

LADIES: Waxing upper lip hair question?

Okay, so I'm thinking about trying waxing strips to remove my upper lip hair. I have never tried any means of removing it, so I am a bit apprehensive...

Also, it is really embarrassing and kind of noticeable.

    My only concerns are:

    - will the hair grow back thicker and darker, and look worse, or will it grow back thinner and lighter (I have heard both)...?

    - how often will I have to wax, and will I have to wax less often with continued use?LADIES: Waxing upper lip hair question?
I wax my upper lip, and it actually grows back really nicely. It's not those stubbly hairs you get after shaving your legs, but soft, thin new hair growth.

How often all depends on how fast your hair grows and how you feel about it. LIke, if there is a little hair and you are not bothered, then less frequently, but if you want that baby to be hair free all the time, then probably more frequently.

My only warning is that the waxing can irritate the skin and make it really red and tender for a little bit. Maybe go to your local nail salon and have then do it the first time, to see how you feel about it. It's sort of hard to wax yourself if you've never done it before.LADIES: Waxing upper lip hair question?
the hair doesnt grow out thicker or darker or look worse...not any of that. after continued use i heard it does subside a little bit but i've been doing it for a couple years now adn i havent noticed that but it maybe it takes more time. i like waxing becuase its quick and easy and its not that painful. just be careful and make sure its not too hot becuase that can peel yoru skin and it wil hurt a lot. also whatever you do donttttt shave! thats a bad idea. yoru hair wil come out extremely thick and very frequently.
OK TAKE IT FROM SOMEONE WHO KNOWS!!!!

Waxing is the BEST thing you can do for it! NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER shave it -- if you do you the hair will grow back thicker and darker and look worse.

Waxing takes the whole hair out with the root so hair will actually grow back thinner.

You wax again when you see the hair again so probably every 4 weeks but everyone is different!

    Good luck!

Oh buy the Sally Hansen strips that are designed for bikini area, eyebrows and upper lips... they work GREAT! And they cost $5.99 and will last a long time!
it will grow back to where you have to keep waxing it for the rest of your life. my mother waxed hers and she regrets it. you will have to wax about every month or so. If you do chose to you will feel very little pain. it is quick and easy. not noticable at all just for the first day because the peach fuz will be gone also, it will also be slightly red.

good lick waxing hope this helped.
i have the same problem, i have a hairy upper lip, i do wax, i feel it's better personally. when mine grows back it does not grow back darker or thicker, just the same.

some of my friend have theirs bleached, this way it is less noticable however, it does still show a bit.
    don't wax

it's not good for long term..

    it stretched the skin

    making premature wrinkles more likely

waxing in areas on the face where skin is

    tough it okay though..

    try threading.:)

    hair will grow back normal..

only thicker if you are too young because your hormones haven't settled properly
the only reason hair grows back thicker is because a fresh follicle is sprouting. i would recommend bleaching it because waxing your upper lip will also make the skin around it dangly and old looking lol
Dont wax it it will grow back darker and longer. Your best bet is to lighten it

  • What is the difference between Hair Gel, Wax and Glue. Any link to learn the art of Men Short Hair Styling?

glue is a bigtime holding gel.

gel is used for controling the hair so it's not flyaway and so men don't need to use hairspray.

on curly hair it tames the frizz. on straight hair it gives volume and thickness.

glue is for hair to be unnatural. like if you have thin hair that grows straight down and you want it to spike. bigtime hold.

wax is to soften the hairs, but keep in place. men with hard hair or super straight hair that is short and spikey to give shine.

glue has no shine, more of a matte finish.

did this answer the question? don't know of any links for the art of men's short hair styling, sorry. What is the difference between Hair Gel, Wax and Glue. Any link to learn the art of Men Short Hair Styling?
might find something about mens hair hereWhat is the difference between Hair Gel, Wax and Glue. Any link to learn the art of Men Short Hair Styling?
gel will give a wet hard look, wax gives a shiny wet and movable look, glue is exactly how it sounds very hard if you want spikes this is the product to use, paul mitchell has a good glue and it does not flake, short hair you can wear down or spike it up

Is it safe to use Veet Facial Hair Removal then minutes after wax my upper lip?

When I wax and only wax it doesn't get all the hair.

When I use the cream only it gets most.

When combined it works great! Is their any dangers to using them both?

I've had no problems so far....Is it safe to use Veet Facial Hair Removal then minutes after wax my upper lip?
wait until the next day. i tried something similar to that and had a beautiful mustache of pimples for a week:(Is it safe to use Veet Facial Hair Removal then minutes after wax my upper lip?
its bad for your skin. waxing takes off a layer of your skin (mostly dead) and then adding the lotion on top of fresh skin you might cause irritation. best thing to do is soak a rag in hot water and press it against the area you plan to wax for 5-10 min, pat dry and wax the area. after pluck any remaining hairs and rub just a dot of baby oil on the fresh area. if you still have hairs you need to get rid of wait 2 days before using a cream. over time you might develop a reaction to both at the same time so space them a few days apart to give your skin a chance to recuperate.

I have hair somewhat like that, and I don't like big gooey mess on my head, but I want really nice messy spikes. I use KMS HairPlay Molding Paste. Its the best I've ever used to be perfectly honest. Just make sure to hairspray it afterwards, or apply a shinning spray because the actual product does not offer much shine. What is a good hair wax?
i would try redken water wax it works well also redken rewind which is a fiber works well.. good luck.

How do I use wax strips to remove pubic hair?

Im thinking of getting some veet wax strips to remove all my hair from down there, my bikini like and near my bum. Is there any particular methods i should use, should i trim it all as close to the skin as possible then wax?

If you got any help or tips please let me know, thanks! How do I use wax strips to remove pubic hair?
I tried using them a few years back and all I can say about that experience is OUCH! There was a lot of pain and little hair that actually was removed. make sure the hair is long enough to get stuck (about 3/4 of an inch, I think), short hairs and wax equal nothing but pain. Research to try and find the best product. If you have sensitive skin, find one with no dyes and scents. Also, do a test run before the area is going to be exposed (like going to a pool or beach wearing a bathing suit). You never know how your skin will react. Good luck and I hope it goes better for you than it did for me!

P.S. I found the best way is the old fashion way, shaving cream and a razor. How do I use wax strips to remove pubic hair?
the wax strips need some hair to cling on to, so let it grow for about three weeks. Don't shower right before. The wax strips will come with instructions and lots of tips on how to use them.

It can be kind of painful, but it lasts much longer than shaving.

    Good luck.
removing pubic hairs wid wax strips may cause alot of pain and red spots..... rather dan using a wax strip u can trim or just shave ur hairs wid electric shaver or by using some shaving creams...

What is the best matte finish hair paste/wax that isnt over $10?

Ive tried surf hair but im tired of it and I want something new. I was thinking of one of the new AXE hair waxes but ionoWhat is the best matte finish hair paste/wax that isnt over $10?
Try Axe. It makes your hair 'spikey' or whatever but it isn't hard as rock and it won't stab your girl in the face if you have one. lol. My husband uses the pomade and spike stuff :)

  • Is it ok to wax in an ingrown hair area?

I hv an ingrown hair in my underarm. I wax my armpit, is it ok to wax in that area since there is hair surrounding it? And when will the ingrown hair go away its been there since the beginning of february, and how does it come anyways? Is it ok to wax in an ingrown hair area?
You can still wax the area, but the ingrown hair will remain until you manage to remove it from under the skin.Is it ok to wax in an ingrown hair area?
Use tweezers to remove the hair not pop it because popping it with tweezers would be wicked painful. Idk about the waxing part.
take a pair of tweezers to it, try to pop it open and definately do not wax it just shave a round it, because it will get worse!!!!!!!!
to get rid of it, you just rub some alcohol on it. do not pop it! it becomes irritated and hurts like hell
You need to pluck the hair. Soak it in hot water and then take tweezers to the hair. Don't put on deodorant and just let it breathe for a little while. Deodorant might be irritating it.
NO don't wax there. you need to gently exfoliate the area to break the hair out from under the skin. Ingrown hairs come because the hair growing back is too fine to pierce the skin. It will get infected unless you do something about it.

Can you use hair styling wax to add volume to your hair?

    if so, how?

will it damage my hair? Can you use hair styling wax to add volume to your hair?
Wax is too heavy for volume, it will weigh your hair down. You need something light like mouse. Can you use hair styling wax to add volume to your hair?
    no not at all

the only thing gel can do to your hair is cause build up

which is simply cured with a good shampooing.

    I suggest either

    Paul Mitchell shaping cream

    http://www.probeautywarehouse.com/Produc鈥?/a>

    Victorias Secret So Sexy Pomade

    http://www.google.com/products?q=Victori鈥?/a>

    or la bella styling cream

    http://www.walgreens.com/store/productli鈥?/a>

I personally like La bella for when your hair is flat

the pomade adds...a kind of strange texture

and the shaping cream..is supposed to be for guys, but I use it for minor volume adding.

the trick for using la bella..because that stuff is very sticky.

is to use..a quarter size amount

and rub it into your hands

and run it through your hair after you've styled it and everything

    like, go crazy with it.

your hair may feel sticky and gross

but just keep working with it, the gel will work into your hair nicely

I would actually suggest the pomade for curly/wavy hair styles
no, styling mousse, maybe and foam mousse definatly, styling wax wouldnt damage your hair to a certain point, as its made for hair isnt it?

and styling wax would just weigh it down or make it harder to handle

How do you handle body hair - do you go natural, wax, shave or use creams?

Where, how often? And yes, both men and women can join in this one, everyone knows guys are just as keen to look and feel good. How do you handle body hair - do you go natural, wax, shave or use creams?
im a beauty therapist and from experience (personal and looking at others) waxing (even though it hurts) is the way to go. after a while of waxing your hair will be thinner, finner and will stop growing all together.

the other way is lazer (IPL, VPL, SPL etc.) this is a permanent hair removal that really works the only down side is the cost and you can only do it on people with medium to light skin and semi to dark hair. How do you handle body hair - do you go natural, wax, shave or use creams?
I wax, according to my hair growth pattern, I need to wax after 20 days. Its a good option because as you keep waxing with time, the hair growth becomes really fine. Also, waxing lasts longer than the other methods. I wax usually my whole body.
some of my friends do it with candle wax, those giant candles. i rather use cream, like nivea just smear it on and shave it off with a blade less shaver. how neat. best thing it keeps my legs really soft, for days, and the hair grows slower. oh by the way, i'm a man, heterosexual, i must add.
As a guy I get my body hair waxed. I get it done about every 6-8 weeks. Though it is not as popular with guys, I do it anyway.
I go natural as for my arms and face... (all the girls in my class get rid of theirs, so maybe I'll sound weird if I say I don't, they don't believe me lol)

    Waxing otherwise..
    wax
I do the traditional, shaving my legs and arms :D

Three quick questions, hair makeup and waxing?

Hair- I have natrual long afro curly hair , but I was wondering is this product any good to use on my hair to give it a nice smell (some of the products I use smell gross) and look- either A-http://www.asos.com/Tigi/Tigi-Catwalk-Cu鈥?/a> or B- http://www.asos.com/Tigi/Tigi-Catwalk-Cu鈥?/a> Secondly Makeup- Im going on a big night in London and I have deep pink streaks in my hair and my dress is also pink everything else is gold eg jewlley belt shoes, what should I go for with makeup? and Lastly Im getting a wax on Friday morning will it be ok for Saturday night eg if theres any redness wil it have gone down?Three quick questions, hair makeup and waxing?
1.yes i would go with A or B it dosent matter about that but i would recomend the B more than A because if you have afro hair then you want something that wont add weight to your hair the cream would but the spray wont.

    2. Makeup go with a shiny gold pink

    3. Yes i get wax all the time and it is always gone either that night or the next moring just make sure they remove the excess wax and then they put on some aloe to smooth the surface and keep it healthyThree quick questions, hair makeup and waxing?
Hair-you can't go wrong with tigi products their great,

Make-up- go for gold eyeshadow all over the lid and a deep pink at the outer edge, put a small line under the eye too, sizzling hot colours are so in this season.

    Waxing- you'll be fine

    have a good night
All Tigi products smell amazing, especially the Catwalk range. There's a much bigger selection of products on www.hqhair.com which is where I get most of my stuff from. You could even ';Ask Jayne'; on there and she writes back to you with a personal reply of the best products to use and always gives you a little code to use to get a discount from your next order.

For makeup you should go for quite a natural look for foundation and lipstick etc, but go for something really bright and contrasting for your eyeshadow - something like a deep green would be amazing against hot pink.

Also a tip for 2008 - matching your shoes and belt is a big no-no!

For your after-wax care just try something like aloe vera to reduce any redness and hope for the best!

  • Is it considered normal for men to wax body hair?

First off i aint gay or anything, but i am starting to have some hair on my shoulders and back, its not much and not long but i am sure its a matter of time.

Now sooner or later i am going to get rid of it and i would shave it but i hate when the hair starts to grow it gets all ichy and irritating. So i am thinking that i will wax it.

But for a guy to wax his body hair, is this normal? does this make a guy gay? What if i was to wax most of my body hair? What do you think? Is it considered normal for men to wax body hair?
Yes, it is perfectly normal. Its okay, you dont have to hide it. Lost of men do it.Is it considered normal for men to wax body hair?
guys wax their body hair for lots of reasons. Champion bike racers like Lance Armstrong wax their body hair to cut down on wind resistance. Nothing gay about that. Nowadays, we have lots of choices in life. If it makes you feel better, try it. It's not something irreversible.
The only thing that makes you gay is being sexually attracted to other guys. Nothing else.

As far as your body hair goes, the best thing to do is just get over it. It's not mentally healthy to keep fighting your body reality. If you are hairy, be PROUDLY HAIRY. Tinkering with superficial stuff like hair all the time leads to poor self esteem. You are who you are -- rejoice in the body you have.

Anyway, who wants to look like some pathetic hairless Ken doll? Body hair is a sign that you have normal levels of male hormones. Be glad you have it!
i woulld only do it if you have a lot of if you ever get a lot... otherwise i wouldnt worry about it cuz once you wax it each time it will grow back thicker so be careful!!! good luck deciding...
I think it's great that you want to wax, and more guys should do it. Hairy guys are just nasty. :P

It in no way makes you gay, it just shows you have concern for your appearance and hygiene, which can be rather appealing to the ladies.
Well, we seem to have a really good range of opinions, so here's mine.

I'm a straight guy who has regular full body waxings. My wife thinks I'm having some sort of mid-life crisis. Well maybe I am but if this is its worst symptom, I'll carry on until I decide I don't want to do it any more.

There's nothing gay about getting waxed, so REALLY don't worry about that aspect. It's a totally normal modern practice that some men (of all orientations) choose to do

The answerer who said that the hair grows back thicker after waxing was wrong except in a tiny minority of cases - I have found the exact opposiste (it comes back finer) on most of my body but strangely, no effect on the thickness of re-grown hairs on my chest. I think for most people, the more you get waxed, the hair grows back finer, more slowly and fewer hairs grow back. However, total hairlessness in the treated area is more of a wish than a reality for the vast majority of people however many times they get waxed.

If you want permanent hair removal, laser treatment is the answer as long as you are light skinned and your hair is dark. It's expensive - but maybe not if you otherwise have to go for waxings every month or two. I understand for most people it's completely effective and truly permanent.

    Happy hairlesness!

VO5 is really good, but the best is big sexy hair, also one of the best things to use on your hair is redkin rough paste, it comes in like a toothpaste pump, it's kind of thick, but it works great on short hair, it gives you the messy look. I put it on in the early morning, and at the end of the day , it still looks good. they are for two different purposes, the wax and molding, molding holds, and wax looks messy

Does shaving or using creams make the hair grow thicker and coarser then waxing each time?

never use creams or razors, waxing is waaay better, though it might hurt. apparantly the hair doesn't grow thicker, but every women will tell you different. from experience, i think shaving makes hair darker, thicker and coarser whilst waxing doesn't. personally i would advise that you wax rather than shave. try it for your self and see.Does shaving or using creams make the hair grow thicker and coarser then waxing each time?
i think it doesntDoes shaving or using creams make the hair grow thicker and coarser then waxing each time?
You must choose what's best for you... don't try anything if you don't know what will be the effect... you must be contented of what you have and what you are.. choose that suits you..
Yes - Never shave. If u dont want to wax try imac!
Waxing is better, but it hurts a lot too (depending on the area). Shaving is ok, be sure to hydrate after shaving. The only ';bad'; thing is that the hair might grow back into the skin and then it looks as though they were thicker...
    yes its true
Waxing is better because it weakens the hair follicles if you do it formany years. But shaving WONT make hair grow thicker (urban myth)
    ya its true dont shave

I don`t think, that the hair gets thicker by using a shaver, it just looks like its thicker.

If you wax your hair could you describe the level of pain when doing it. So you apply the wax,let it soak?

through, then you abruptly tear it off, but do you fear this tearing off stage of waxing? I think the anticipation of the forthcoming pain is horrible? If you wax your hair could you describe the level of pain when doing it. So you apply the wax,let it soak?
Ok..i was freaking out when my mom did it to me..but honestly it doesnt hurt that much..it may be red,but put some lotion on after it.or get it done at a salon. If you wax your hair could you describe the level of pain when doing it. So you apply the wax,let it soak?
    idn
Pain is different for every person as we all have different threshholds. And different parts of the body are more sensitive than others.

For me, the pain is very temporary. They put the wax on, put a cloth strip over it and tear it off. Still, it beats having to shave every other day!
    Level of pain.

lower legs: bearable, upper legs: little ouch but with the satisfaction of having smooth legs, underarms: hurts the first few times, bikini: agony.

I had a friend have her bikini waxed once, and she said the attendant goofed and put hot wax on the inside of her vaginal lips, then ripped it off. She was still walking spraddle legged two days later.

But really, the bad part of waxing is the ingrown hairs. The pain can be satisfying if you're in a bad mood, and hating your leg hair. Think of it as a battle.

    Then start saving for laser.
where are you going to wax. I waxed the top of my head so I wouldn't need to shave. the pain was ok until I started tearing out the hair by my ears. that stuff hurts. that and reapplying to get the stragglers hurts bad as well.
ah, datz nothing...u hardly feel a thing wen all ur hair is stripped off ur body!!! i wud say dn worry about it, it only takes a sec to remove the hair, so dznt hurt much
    i dunno
i have no idea, i have never waxed or pucked any thing, however i have friends who do it all the time and they always come out really red and their skin looks irritated.
you must be crazy or you are sadistic.
depends on where you want to wax but yes it does hurt but not that bad
The pain Level depends on the person and where you are waxing the hair from. If you are waxing on your leg, the pain will not be a bad as if you were getting your bikini line waxed.
I waxed my bikini line the first time anticipating pain, but I've never quite felt anything like it before. It was like being punched in the gut and having my pubic area set on fire all at once. I had to sit down and wait for the nausea to pass. The hell with waxing, I want major painkillers before I do that again. My sis says it gets easier. I say she's NUTS. I'll shave. I'll trim. I'll wax when I've forgotten the pain of the last time. 10 years ago?? And yes, the anticipation of the pain is horrible, but for me, the pain is way worse and only keeps getting more so as the routine continues. Noneforme!
Level of pain would be...take your lip and pull it all the way up across your head. Don't let it sit on your skin, spread it, put down musslin strip then remove, not too fast %26amp; small spots at a time or u could pull off skin too.
on a scale of 1-10, id give it 35.iv seen it happen he was screaming bloody murdur. it was awful, i dont recommend it but hey its ur head. :^)
You're fear is totally irational.. waxing isn't that painfull, it really isn't. It'll be fine, try and relax.
it's not that bad....the first time is bad. but after that it's not too bad...you'll get used to it...the 'tearing off' part is the 'worst' but you'll get used to it.
It all depends on the area you are going to wax.
Just did my under arms... it was SCARY!! But i anticipated MORE pain.Just make sure you keep the skin tug and pull real fast 1 sec that's it.
I did it one time. I was planning to wax my legs I put some on waited then ripped it off. I didn't anticipate pain cause my cousin did it all the time like it won't nothing but after I ripped mine off I didn't do any more I actually walked around with like a bald spot on my leg. It was real smooth though and it lasted for a while I just didn't think it was worth the pain. I am not that hairy anyway!
Sure, it dosen't exactly feel good, but it dosen't hurt that much. What area are you trying to wax? I've never waxed my bikini, so I can't say if that area hurts, but I do wax my eyebrows %26amp; I'd say that although it is painful, the pain is very tolerable %26amp; worth it.
depends upon the area of hair you are waxing
im a beauty thearpist but b4 i tried them home waxing kits and they hurt so bad bcos the wax isnt heated properly underarm isnt as sore as leg wen i was trainin my entire class preferred underarm to leg waxin!!! its like getting a plaster pulled off if its done quickly and professionally it doesnt hurt but if done slow its very sore skin shud also be held firm den u dont really feel it
it's not as bad as you initially think and it does hurt less with regular waxing. the level of pain depends on the area being waxed.
Well, it depends on your pain tolerance and the location of the waxing. I think it is only really painful the first couple of times and that is because you aren't sure what to expect. Just go in expecting the absolute worst and it won't be so bad. It's a tolerable pain and so very worth it for the end result of smooth, hairless whatever body part you are waxing. BEAUTY IS PAIN, my friend.
depends on what part of you, you are waxing. if eyebrows, then just a little for like 5 seconds. for like legs and stuff, i don't know how much it hurts
better to go to a professional.

    if u don't, try this...

follow directions in product, because their are lots of diff. kinds out there. if you buy one u heat, make sure not to get too hot.

when applying, apply in direction that the hair grows, and pull strip off in opposite direction. do not let it ';soak'; in, and u can apply pressure to area after hair removal...this helps the pain ease faster!

the pain is not as bad as twee-zing to me, and new growth is not as course. also, don't have to wax as often as when u tweez either. the level of pain can depend on what area u wax.
Waxing when done properly smarts for a bit. A topical numbing cream will take the edge off. The benefits far outweigh the pain though.

What kind of wax do u use to wax ur pubic hair?

is it the normal one we use for our limbs. can one do it herself. What kind of wax do u use to wax ur pubic hair?
Better shave it or use a Hair Remover there. Waxing can hurt you a lot. What kind of wax do u use to wax ur pubic hair?
yup you can use the same wax, but be carefull, it will hurt more on that part of your body than on your legs. Depending on how flexible you are you may want to have it done professionally, but you can do it yourself if you feel comfortable.
are you crazy?! It hurts to wax my eyebrows, i can't i just tweeze and that's bad enough just shave it off sure you may have to do it more often but there's no need to do that to yourself unless you're a miscast.
you can't wax on that part
I think it's all the same, but I wouldn't suggest it! Ouch! I shave, it works good for me :)
    You better shave it.
    go to Beauty Parlour
    i use razor
    dont...shave
same wax that u use on other places
Wax will hurt u alot..... better if u shave... thts the best.... no wax.....

I'm SCARED about waxing my lip hair help (veet wax strips)?

im 15 and i have a very noticable mustache. i've read that waxing is the best solution because it grows back slower and lighter. and after waxing over time i damages the roots which prevents the hair from growing back. but i also heard that it hurts like hell, i don't want to get it done proffesinally i want to buy these veet cold wax strips. i dont think there the best brand but there the only brand sold in my country, so can someone tell me how to use them....please...??I'm SCARED about waxing my lip hair help (veet wax strips)?
    when you wax--------

when you apply the strip, make sure to really rub the strip with your finger and get it warm *body heat helps the wax melt better*

hold the skin taut before you rip, stretch your skin so that it is tight

rip the wax strips off in the opposite direction of the way the hair is growing

and after ripping each strip, hold the strip onto the skin where you just waxed and apply pressure for a few seconds *helps relieve sting*

its really not that bad, my eyes dont even well up anymore when im getting my lip waxed because im so used to it :)I'm SCARED about waxing my lip hair help (veet wax strips)?
    they are awesome

i use them, i have VERY sensitive skin and they are ideal

i have to cut each on in half to use as they are quite long

i suggest you do the same

take the paper off, and apply the sticky side to one half of your top lip

smooth onto your skin and then take one corner(away from your nose at the edge of your lip)

hold the skin taught with your other hand, and peel in one swift movement towards your nose

your skin will feel a little numb and tingle for a moment or 2

do NOT put on any lotion etc, unless aloe vera gel as your pores are wide open at this point

your face may be red for a day or 2, so do it when you hva no where to go, until you see if it does go red
I have the same issue! And I have sensitive skin. I finally found the best solution. These pads called smooth away work great. Smooth away comes in a package with different sized pads to use on different parts of your body. It works great for my mustache and there is no pain involved!! I only need to use it about once every few weeks.

I have used veet before and it makes me break out.

    Hope this helps, good luck!

    Becca
Just put it and release it. Before that, put some cream so that the pain would lessen. Don't over do it so that it won't irritate. Relax and don't think about the pain. Pains are normal, they will just vanish afterwards.
maybe you might want to try threading, or tweezing instead.

and veet sucks, ive tried it before and it doesnt work at all.
Just wax, that mustache doesn't sound too pretty...
If you read the backs of the box it should suggest how to use the wax strips effectively. I use Veet wax strips on my legs and if we are talking about the same ones they come in rather large strips, i would suggest you cut them before using (so they are smaller and easier to use). The ones i have say to rub the outsides of the strips, this heats up the wax and makes it easier to pull them apart, apply the strip and pull in the oppsite direction to hair growth, i.e. toward the root of the hair.

I would say that getting it proffessionally done is definately more effective and less painful as you don't need to pull the strip yourself, also beuticians are trained and have experience. Although waxing is effective, you should look into laser hair removal, it is ALOT more effective and lasts for a long time, it also prevents the re growth of hair and hair grows back much finer, appointments only need to be made every few months and although it is costly, it would actually end up being cheaper than reguarly buying wax strips.

Why r my hair not growing after waxing?

i lost bet and had to get my legs waxed , but now 20 days has passed and still their is not any trace of hair

why r hair not growingWhy r my hair not growing after waxing?
it takes longer for hair to grow back after waxing. and the mroe you wax the less hair grows. i'm sure it will come back soonWhy r my hair not growing after waxing?
There's no justice in the world.

I get waxed cos I want to be smooth and I get averagely hairy again in about 3 weeks and then back to original gorilla state in about 5 weeks. You want to be hairy again quickly and after 3 weeks, nothing!

    Life sucks sometimes!
hair takes longer to grow back when you pull it out by the roots. When you just shave it, the hair still grows as normal. But when you get waxed, your skin has to regrow new hair. It will grow back eventually though, not to worry.
Waxing your legs is a good thing and better than shaving if you don't want hair to grow LOL but its very normal for hair to take ages to grow

it normally takes 1 month to grow back!
waxing pulls out the hair follicles on your leg so it takes a longer time to grow back then shaving i wax my crotch area lol and it take 3 weeks before you can see a single hair
Your hair is not growing because when you waxed your legs, you pulled out your hair folicas and it takes a while to make new ones
    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
it should start growing back withing 7 weeks after waxing. you must of had thin hair, so it takes longs since the follicle has to grow back

waxing pulls out the hair follicles on your leg

it takes a while for them to grow back in

haha wow i know this one and im 13!
You might have pulled the hair all the way out of the hair shaft or cuticle and it will never grow back. Only I could be so lucky.
takes a while to grow back after waxing.
u r guy u should had not got your legs waxed

and why hair r not coming i have no idea

Why is this a problem? So much better with no hair!

you wax your leg, it should grow back in few months.

    Dude LOL
thank your lucky stars lady. if your a man....
cause u are going to die in 7 days
Yea, give it a little more time... it'll grow back
and you would want ur hair to grow back because...?

I'm growing my leg hair to get it waxed a week from now....how do I hide when I wear short clothes?

I am going to my friends 18th birthday party tomorrow, and we are all expected to wear semi-formal outfits, meaning a cute dress. I don't want to wax my legs until next week because next week is my birthday %26amp; I want it done for then... And well I want to hide the hair for tomorrow night. And my boyfriend will be with me too!I'm growing my leg hair to get it waxed a week from now....how do I hide when I wear short clothes?
You will just have to make a decision to either leave the hair alone and wear pants to your friends birthday tomorrow, or shave now and just get your legs waxed at another time after your birthday...it's one of those life-altering choices us girls have to make...lol...you can't hide it while wearing a tiny skirt...Sorry! Happy Birthday next week!I'm growing my leg hair to get it waxed a week from now....how do I hide when I wear short clothes?
I'm assuming that you are growing your hair because you know how long it takes it to get to the appropriate length for a wax. If that is the case then shaving now can be ruled out.

There are lots of ways to make the hair on your legs appear less noticeable. I know because I am lazy. Having well lotioned legs helps. Spraying on some fake tanning stuff will make it harder to see the hairs. Bleaching the hairs would be a drastic option. Of course you could also go with a longer dress, high boots, pantyhose, or pants... but I'm betting you don't want to do that. I think the best solution for this situation is to just say to everybody ';Oh man, my legs are so hairy, haha! I'm letting the hair grow so I can get them waxed next week.'; If they are your friends it shouldn't matter. I personally would rather say it and put it out there than wonder if people are whispering behind my back.

Or you could tell them you're a hippie now and don't shave.

    Good luck!
Wax it now! It'll be fine. Hair doesn't grow back till after at least six weeks. Otherwise you'll have to wear a long dress. There's nothing for it. It's impossible to hide. Believe me, I've tried. It's embarassing and it's so hard to enjoy the evening when I keep wondering if people can see the beginning strays of hair on my legs.

Plus you can wax up to 0.2 mm of hair.
1.use fem .....it will change your hair's colour into your skin colour.....you can also use any other product like that

2.you can also use your father's razer its the best........trust me I have used it.....!

I wanna 10 points so plzzzzzzzzzz choose my answer as best
There's no way to hide it.

Shave the hair for today, don't wax.

It will grow back properly and should be a reasonable length to wax by next week.
Wear a pant suit instead of a dress or wear panyhose...if you must wear the dress....that's really the only options you have.
Shave today and wax for your b-day. Shaved hair grows sooner so by next week you'll be ready to wax.
ok just use veet or nair or just dont hide it cause like I have hair in my leg and I just deal with people think what they want to think
forget about getting your legs waxed. shave both times. people really can't even tell a difference at all.
Just shave it today. Theres no way to hide it.
wax it now then wax it again for your bday, or just use hair removal cream.
    you wax them r谋hgt away
your gonna have to wear leggings or jeans

sit on a lit candle then cover your butt with waxed paper...when the initial pain goes away, rip that sucker off!
just shave it, man. Waxing is very painful with great, very great chance of hair follicle infection, after the hair is ripped out. Being that your butt is covered and under pressure and seats, guaranteed for a pimply whitehead type infection. I rather be a HAREy *** than pimple ***.

shaving it does not make it grow in thicker or darker. that is just an old wives tale.
    dont shave it !!!

why not order some online from america or england or try going to some english shops it germany they might stock some or if not pluck them with a tweaser it is better than having facial hair gd luck x
Absolutely DON'T shave it. I would bleach it and keep looking for wax everywhere. LOL I can't believe Germans don't wax!! I'm Italian, and we're known to be hairy, but I can assure you that in Italy you find wax to buy in every store, and everybody uses it! LOL
    Bleach it!

DON'T shave it, it will grow in thicker and more noticable, as well as darker.
bleach it, or go to a salon and get a professional wax...ask your german friends, i know they have wax in germany....
Shaving is not as bad as most people think. If you tweeze that is worse because you risk breaking the skin. If you do shave use a clean razer everytime.

    Waxing your pubic hair?

Does it hurt like hell or what? Waxing your pubic hair?
It does not hurt much just stings a little.. but worth it as there is no stubble afterwards.Waxing your pubic hair?
Waxing does hurt but it really isn't that bad! And it gets better every time you have it done as it weakens the roots of your hair. Have a couple of paracetamols before you go for the first time. Eventually you might be able to do it yourself, even though it is bit uncomfortable - not because of the pain, but you might need to get to some really crazy positions! :)

Trust me, it sounds scarier than it really is!
Anyone who tells you that waxing ';down there'; doesn't hurt is lying. It does hurt but it is a quick and instant pain that is over quickly. I really think waxing is worth it but only if someone else is doing the waxing as if you do it yourself it wont work as well and it would hurt a lot more. Xx
I totally recommend having a Brazilian or bikini wax. The pain is tolerable and that's all that matters.

It takes the hair away like nothing else. No special creams, no razors. If you go to a professional, they are trained to make the procedure as quick and painless as possible. And it hurts less and less the more you do it. Believe me, waxing is not as bad as some people think it is.
it does hurt but it is over pretty quickly, lats a couple of seconds only, getting it all waxed takes about 15-20 minutes, and stays hairless for a month, opposed to shaving which may only stay hairless for a few days..... i know which i would do!!!!
Yeah it hurts but its tolerable and the pain does not last long. The more you have it done, the more you get use to it. The end result is well worth it.
It is one of life's mysteries why women pay hundreds for hair extensions, then the same again for a trim down below.

Then again women are a law unto themselves.
i am pretty sure that it does, and like so sticking to just shaving it off. it is easier, pain free, and doesn't take very long.
YES IT DOES!!!!! My suggestion, have someone do it for you cause there's no way, unless you're a superman/woman, to bear that much pain.
Yeah it will, but guys will be more willing to go down on you so it might be worth it. Get ur boyfriend to pay
shave, its the easiest way, just be careful don't want to cut yourself down there, lol.
Waxing hurts like a B**** either way but waxing down there is the worse!
Ooooohhhh the thought of it makes me wince!
    hurts more then hell
be prepared to cry thats all i have to say

  • Does Bikini waxing cause in grown hair, does that just depend on the person? Any before n after tips???

Thinking about getting a bikini wax for the first time......Does Bikini waxing cause in grown hair, does that just depend on the person? Any before n after tips???
Exfoliate the area so hair does'nt get ingrown. There are products you can buy to apply to the area afterwords. Look in the shaving product area of the store.Does Bikini waxing cause in grown hair, does that just depend on the person? Any before n after tips???
I don't know much about bikini waxing at all, but it just seems to me like it wouldn't cause ingrown hairs...But make sure you don't completely take my word for it!
yes it can.. Just shave it.. it DOESNT ITCH!!!

Can you wax hair if it is about 1/8 of an inch?

Or is that too short? I have Sally Hansen Microwavable Wax, if that means anything. Can you wax hair if it is about 1/8 of an inch?
you should be fine with it that length but if you're worried wait a few days for it to grow a little moreCan you wax hair if it is about 1/8 of an inch?
your question is rhetorical. It doesn't deserve an answer.

How do you get wax out of your hair?

I got my eyebrows waxed today and the ***** got wax in my hair...just a tiny spot...but I dont know if shampoo wil lget it out! what do i do!How do you get wax out of your hair?
it will eventually or just comb it outHow do you get wax out of your hair?
Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.

Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.

Electrolysis and laser hair removal are ';permanent'; hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://tinyurl.com/ob6tt
Use baby oil or just cut your eyebrows.
    hot water
If a hot shower doesn't get it out first, shampoo should finish the job.
    try baby oil
burn it, it will melt out.lol sorry i had to say it
You could put a cloth over that hair strands and iron it. It will melt into the cloth. It will still leave a small residue but it should wash out next shampoo. Sounds like you're lucky the *** did not get it in your eye.
You can do one of two things, in order to avoid damaging your hair.

    1. use your fingernails and take the time to slowly scrape it out.

    2. set your clothes iron on the coolest setting, use a towel, fold your waxed hair in the towel and place the iron on the towel.

Duration of iron depends on thickness of towel...check to make sure wax is softening or melting.

You could try using a curling iron, but that might cause additional damage to your hair.
Just try to wash it off.

    Good Luck!!!!!!
Try your normal shampoo first. If that doesn't work, find the strongest clarifying shampoo you can. It'll come out eventually--keep in mind, some hair products are even nastier than that.

Hair salon, eyebrow waxing/coloring and eyelash coloring near Temecula, CA.??

I am moving to Temecula California in a couple of weeks and I need some recommendations on hair salons. I like to get my eyebrows and eye lashes dyed as well and if I can find one place that does all of those GREAT!. I am VERY picky about my hair because I have bangs and curly hair ha ha, and as many of the women out there in my shoes know...IF my bangs are cut to short it is RIDICULOUS! Money is not a huge object but I would like to stay as inexpensive as possible, but am willing to pay for a job well done. THANKS!Hair salon, eyebrow waxing/coloring and eyelash coloring near Temecula, CA.??

I've just had my upper lip waxed, its hair free but looks like I have a moustache shadow?

I only had fine baby hair there anyway but I could see this moustache shadow so had it waxed. Its similar to like how you get dark under the eyes.

Its still there! I'm a girl.. it looks stupid, i've notice a few other people with it in town etc.

How can you cover it or better still get rid, Concealer doesnt work

What is it?I've just had my upper lip waxed, its hair free but looks like I have a moustache shadow?
Its making you self conscious and it will appear to be worse to you, when, in fact, no one else will notice it.

The best thing to do is bleach the hairs, better than waxing in my opinion.

But its up to you what you wish to do.

Ask someone you trust 100% to see if they can see what you see.

I'm sure it's fine!I've just had my upper lip waxed, its hair free but looks like I have a moustache shadow?
omg!! i really dont know what you can do !!! :S sorry

but can you help me please? im a young girl and i SWEAR

im getting a ''tash'' and its really scarring me,, i mean its not that bad but it is blond and the hairs are quite noticable close up,, im not goin to shave it will just make it worse,, please can you help as you are kinda in the same position as me?? thanks xxxxxxxxxx
use foundation, when ur out and cream on it when ur indoors too help it fade(it willl eventually)
Your nose can cast a shadow on your upper lip

Also, the shape of your upper lip and cheeks can play a trick on your eyes... making it seem like your upper lip is darker

But of course you're hypersensitive to it, I bet no one else would notice unless you specifically brought their attention to it!

hope that makes you feel better about it. :-)

If i wax hair off my stomach, will it grow back darker/thicker?

it's not that that bad, but i don't like it.

is waxing it a bad idea?If i wax hair off my stomach, will it grow back darker/thicker?
Waxing does not encourage growth. Actually, with time the roots will get more and more fragile, and the hair will get thinner (this will probably take years though).

Shaving on the other hand, will make the new hair appear thicker and darker and will not diminish hair growth. Shaving does not encourage hair growth, although it does appear so because the stubbles are harder/edgier than hair that you just let grow.

Go ahead and wax it off!If i wax hair off my stomach, will it grow back darker/thicker?
Not at all! If you wax hair, it will grow back finer and finer. Now, if you shaved it then it would be courser and thicker when it grew back, and it would grow back quickly. Waxing delays hair growth, so you'd have to wax at most every 3 weeks.
I ALWAYS get my smotach hair waxed and it used to be dark and thick but now its thinning and slightly lighter plus it takes about 3/5 weeks to grow so its great just pop into your local salon and get an appointment to wax it off it's quick and painless!!
Waxing is better than shaving. Hair grows back darker and thicker after shaving, because you only remove part of a hair that is visible. When you wax, you pull a hair from its root. After a couple of times your hair should be less dark and less thicker.
It might. I got rid of the hair in that area just because I had a lot of peach fuzz. I regret it. I had some come back really dark and now I constantly have to maintain it. Personally, I would've rather had the peach fuzz!!
No, it won't grow back darker or thicker. That;s an old wives' tale. If you SHAVE, not wax, the hair can grow back in blunt (usually the ends are tapered), so it may appear thicker.
No routine waxing will make the hair come in thinner and lighter.

Just never shave it or use any type of depilatory cream. (Nair)
yea, your better off leaving it there, if it really bugs you, bleach it....but dont take it out.
I would suggest you bleach it
no it won't grow back darker or thicker
no its not if u shave it will u should wax it
