Waxing your arm hair?

Well i ust to shave ma arm hair now its all dark and thick and yukk i wanna nair it but if i nair it will it go bak to normall and i have herd of nair but i dont undertsand wat it is can u explain and how do i use it?Waxing your arm hair?
mmkay, I agree with pretty much everybody else on this one... Nair's a lotion type stuff that you spread on, wait 5 minutes, and then wash it off.

Just one reminder for you...

Be careful with using Nair, if your skin starts to itch (and I mean really, REALLY itch) or your skin feels like it's burning (burning like, well if you've ever badly burned yourself with a curling iron, you know what I mean...) ... anyways, if either of those happen, wash off the Nair!!!

Before you put it all over your arms, test it on a small patch of skin... make sure you won't have any bad reactions to it.

Trust me on this, I found out that I'm allergic to Nair -- and I found out AFTER I had spread the stuff all over my legs.Waxing your arm hair?
well nair is really easy to use

all you do is spread it on and wait five minutes but don't go up to 10 minutes

and its ok to feel a wierd tickle or itchy
Don't do it. The stubble from when it grows back is worse then the hair
nair is like a stick sap like substance it really hurts but works!

it will not go back to normal i use it and love it. If you want the best results see a pro.
I really don't know haw to help you out fully, but if you nair it, use the wax because all those chemicals in the lotions (or whatever it is) aren't good for you at all. Good luck!
Try Veet hair removable. make sure to test it on a small patch first.
Nair is a product that you put on your hair and let it sit for a while, it ';burns'; the hair at the roots so you can just wash it off. I myself have never had any luck with it. It just never seemed to work for me. You could give it a shot though. It's not like wax, unless you are getting nair wax, then you are just putting hot wax on the hair and yanking it out...ouch. Either way, there is no way to get it do go back to normal. The hair is so think because you shaved it before. Waxing or Removing it with Nair will extent the time between removals, but it'll never go back to before you started shaving it unless you go get the hair surgically removed.

I hope this answers your question.
if u use thenew gillette one for men they will not be thick and excellent, otherwise make the wax urself some honey and little bit of lemon and pour it on the sink top , later u can remove with water take it like a dough and use it

Home waxing is not the way to go. Salons expect a lot of male clients for waxing these days - it's no big deal. For better results and less pain and really not that much cost if you're only having stomach and armpits done, just go to a good salon and leave it to the professionals.

Waxing/Bleaching/Unwanted hair question.....?

Okay, I want to get rid of the hair on my upper lip.

But I don't want to wax it because then I'm gonna have a light spot over my lip

and I don't want to bleach it

because I have dark skin so you'd be able to see blonde hairs on me.

So, what could I do about this, it gets pretty bothersome.

Waxing is just the best way to go, it will only be light for a bit but after you apply make up you can't even tell. Once the sun hits it for a couple days then it starts getting darker, it's not like it's going to be hugely noticeable. I had the same worries but now I can't live without waxing or plucking them out.Waxing/Bleaching/Unwanted hair question.....?

I've hair on my chin.. i always do waxing to remove them ,,is laser treatment is good n permanent..?

Laser hair removal does not necessarily kill the hair. It can only be called hair reduction since new hairs can grow and not all the follicles are killed.

That said most of the people I know who have used a qualified laser specialist have seen some great results and been very pleased.

I've hair on my chin.. i always do waxing to remove them ,,is laser treatment is good n permanent..?
Electrolysis is a far cheaper option, and works well. Waxing can distort the hair follicle and lead to nasty ingrown hairs. Go see a beautician and meanwhile try just trimming the hairs with scissors, as you will need to grow them in before starting any kind of treatment for them.I've hair on my chin.. i always do waxing to remove them ,,is laser treatment is good n permanent..?
There's a trick with laswer treatment. You will have to get it done three times for it to be totally permanent, because that's just the cycle of your hair follicles.

Waxing will permanently remove them too, but it takes around 30 something years of waxing for it to work.
Laser Treatments can cost thousands of dollars, but are well worth it to many. Make sure you have a good, professional boutique, and take a week off of work/school because it will be red, red, red.

It is not painful, but described by many as a slight rubber band snap. Do not forget to take Advil or a pain-relief medicine before you go!
    are u educated?

i couldn't understand why u people go for laser!

laser will definitely create Skin cancer.

laser hair removal is permanent but it requires multiple trips and can be very expensive. you have to weigh out if it's worth it!
if you are that bothered about it and you regularly wax then maybe you should try laser which is permanent.

Waxing as i have very little hair and is cut down to a number 1 cut?

waxing as i have very little hair and have it cut all over to a number 1 cut w2ould it be safe to use waxing strips on my head can any one please help me many thanks.Waxing as i have very little hair and is cut down to a number 1 cut?
yes it would but it would feel like jaming nails in to ur leg on the nigh of the full moonWaxing as i have very little hair and is cut down to a number 1 cut?
if you want your head the sleak clean bald, go for the old standby......razor and shaving cream.

Waxing is painful, even just for small areas like the eyebrows or one strip of the leg.
it should be safe but you will have to wait until it grows out some more if i remember Right you have to have 1 to 1 1/2 inches of hair good luck bald men are sexy
no i would not recommend it as by doin this you pull out the hairs folical and what this will do when it starts to grow back it is very risky as you could get ingrowing hairs these are very painful and get really badly infected why dont you just get a clipper set and do it yourself but if you like it short have a 0.5 you get this by not puttin any grade on the clipper set.
sure u can.. just careful with the hot wax..
    NNOOOO

dont do this ur scalp is very sensitive!!!

first use like 1/2 a lemon to 1 lemon (use the lemon juice) then add sugar (im not really sure how much tho) then keep mixing it until it get to a dark brown. find sumwhere that wont ruin the tile or floor and put a cup on water on it then put the wax on the water and wait till it cools then u pull it with your hands and add a little spit (i kno it sounds gross) then take a peice and put the rest in the fridge and keep pulling it until you get a lite brown add a little spit here and there then use it like regular wax then when u want to take the wax out of the fridge put it in the microwaveWhat is the best home made sugar wax recipe for removing body hair?
    Nair yuck
i don't think you should make your own wax.. Veet sells sugar wax, and its only about 10 - 14 dollars at your local Wal*Mart or drug store, you also get the wax strips with them, so its a better deal, and, you would probablly spend more on making your own then you would buying a premade one.

I use it every day and think its pretty difficult to get it out the same day

my advice is sleep it off it comes out next day easy after you have slept

put shampoo in your hair whilst its dry, then wash it
oh no, you might have to use washing up liquid
well i use it and i use head and shoulders..

maybe you putting to much on m8?
    Try some dish detergent.
try dry shampooing your hair first. this means put the shampoo on dry hair, then rinse with water then reapply the shampoo. it should lather up, rinse, and most of the dax should be out
Put the shampoo onto your hair before you wet it, and it should wash out a lot easier. Wax and water don't mix, so if you wet your hair first with the wax on it, then the water will just slide off the wax, and the shampoo will mix with the water and won't get through to clean your hair.

    Hope this helps.
Try fairy liquid, and also applying shampoo before applying water (sounds weird but it weakens up the wax and helps)
    Try Got2Be's Squeaky Clean. Here's a picture: http://mp.hairboutique.com/product.asp?P鈥?/a>
there int any shampoo that gets this cr*p out, use washing up liquid the cheaper ones do it the best and then use a really good conditioner

    and DNT use it again
Ok Dude i use Dax wax everday, to wash it out i buy a shampoo called 'tresemme deep cleansing shampoo' (its a big black ting)u can get it from any shop boots, tesco .ect. Also i always before i get in the shower to wash it out, rub my hair with a towel.

Remember to not use lots of it when appying.
Well Dax is notorious for this, bascially it builds sillicone up on your hair that is difficult to get rid of.

The best thing will washing your hair in be washing up liquid - sounds crazy but true. A hairdresser friend told me of this and when my boyfriend had the exact same problem, he took the advice and it really did get rid of the nasty build up. Just remember to condition your hair well after ... and throw the Dax in the bin!
It puts the lotion on its skin.
Try to hold some ice on the wax, and then see if it will just flake/break off. I would think that may make it fall apart easier. What do you have to loose at this point? Probably nothing but the wax.

I want to take unwanted hair out of my upper lip, is waxing them safe or what else can i do?

i would like to know something which i can do myself %26amp; its safe n effective..I want to take unwanted hair out of my upper lip, is waxing them safe or what else can i do?
wax it. Its a few seconds of pain but it lasts weeks. Theres home kits where you can heat up the wax and apply it on yourself but for around 10 bucks you can have someone else do it for you.

    Or

Threading. If you ask a salon if they do threading you can have your upper lip threading. Its a string that pulls out the hair a few strands at a time. It doesn't hurt as much as waxing but you do feel little pinches. I've had it done before and it lasts just the same time as waxing.

Whatever you do, don't shave it! It will grow up looking very bad. You can pluck it but that will take a long time and it is like threading but instead your just pulling one hair at a time. Theres also creams you can apply that are hair removal cream, but they burn and don't get rid of all of it. Waxing is safe-but-if you have sensitive skin, its not good because waxing is harmful to some peoples skin, for that I would recommend threading.I want to take unwanted hair out of my upper lip, is waxing them safe or what else can i do?
I have the same problem... because i have dark hair. I used to bleach the hair, but about 2 years ago i started waxing the hair above my lip.

I brought some cold facial hair remover wax strips from my local pharmacy, all you do is warm the strips up with your hands, place the strip on the hair, and pull away from your face and the hair is completely stripped off, it works really well for me, it makes it clean and smooth and its really cheap and i only have to wax it every other week.

Waxing is the best way to get rid of the unwanted hair, please please dont shave, you will end up with stubble like a MAN and then the skin will go dark and your hair will become coarser.

    good luck.
You can buy at home wax kits but some of them are expensive. Always touch the wax with your finger to make sure it isn't hot enough to burn or irritate the area your are waxing. I know a lot of people that do all of their waxing themselves, it seems safe to me.
safe, yes, but really unpleasant. it may also grow back thicker. try just trimming it off if you dont have too much
you can get threading done, which is much safer than waxing
wax. dont pluck. plucking leaves redness.
If you have sensitive skin waxing probably isnt the best option....

if not, its a good way to remove hair. If you want to do it at home, i tried Nad's, the green kiwi smelling stuff, and it worked well on my arms where the hair is tougher than the face.

Threading is my favorite method hands down.
Shave or wax. Either will give you the results you may want. You would also try bleaching which will make the hair less noticable. Shaving will only take care of the hair for about a week. If you want longer results definitely go with waxing. You would also go for laser treatment but that is way expensive.

  • Do waxing lessen your body hair?

If you wax a lot, over and over agian then yea, but onnce or twice won't do it!Do waxing lessen your body hair?
yes waxing does but may be a while when hair is waxed hair gets thinner and thinner making it easier to wax when it's time to wax. I've always done my eye brows and there are some hair that I've waxed and never came back. my stylist told me to never ever pluck, tweeze or pull to always wax because tweezing makes the hair not thicker but coarse which makes your pappila, at the bottom of the hair where new hair develops makes the hair folicle to get out. so always wax instead of tweezing.

Is it ok to pluck or shave or wax my pubic hair?

I also started by shaving but hated the prickly regrowth that seemed to appear practically over night!!

I started going to a beauty clinic and got myself waxed every 4 weeks for a year. After this I was pretty sure on the whole process and started doing it at home on my own. At first it took me much longer than the beautician but now it only takes me about an hour.

I had to try lots of different bikini specific (even though I give myself a Brazilian) waxes to find the ones that worked best and hurt the least but once I did I started enjoying the benefits of cheap waxing and staying hair free for up to 4 weeks.

If you are extra bold you could try a bikini epilator although these are quite painful..(cringe) however they are quicker than waxing...

I love how sexy I feel after waxing, it makes me feel gorgeous and womanly..Is it ok to pluck or shave or wax my pubic hair?
Waxing is SO much better. It honestly does make hair more fine if you do it consistently. Just find a good waxer, and it will go quickly. I like to pop a Vicodin or Advil a half-hour before my appointment. It helps!
shaving isn't so tedious after awhile...there are hair removal creams out there...those are good to use...but be careful,as if you leave it on longer than the amounted time it could burn a bit.

sure but don't shave your arm! the more you shave the thicker the hair will get!
waxing won't necessarily lighten the skin but it could thin out your hair for sure especially if it's done several times over the course of a year.

Shaving or Waxing your pubic hair....??

Ok, well i have waxed me bikini line once and i have shaved in once. Waxing it hurt [obvious, i know] and shaving it felt awkward. Both left red spots/bumps. I know waxing lasts longer. And i have been told that when you wax not only does it stay away longer but it grows back in thinner and less dark. Is that true??? How do we get rid of those bumps spots. I want to be able to wax or shave the whole thing not just the bikini line. How do i stop it itching when it grows back. When i shaved it really itches, i just waxed like a couple days ago so idk how that will grow in. Please answer, thankyou.Shaving or Waxing your pubic hair....??
shaving there are a few things you must remember each time:always have a fresh razor, use shave cream, and hot water. before you begin make sure to allow the pubic area to be in warm/hot water for a few minuets before you begin to shave. when you get out of the shower pat the area dry. the trick to keep the area bump free is simple; put a dab (the size of pea) of menthol tooth paste (not the gel kind) and rub it into the area you shaved. do your normal after shower routine (lotion, bath powder, etc.) and before you get dressed put deodorant on the area. once you start shaving your pubic area you MUST shave every 1-2 days to keep the growth from coming in and then you won't itch. my husband and i have been doing this for years and have passed this on to many of our freinds, it sounds odd but it really works!

waxing i have no experience with so sorry.Shaving or Waxing your pubic hair....??
You should consider Laser Hair removal. It is expensive but you would not have to worry about shaving or waxing again. It leaves the skin feeling soft without bumps.
Bob, Is this your way of finding liberated and adventurous women, shame on you. I'm telling your wife......
lotion help the itch and i am sorry but that is nasty

If you dont like shaving or waxing and you dont want to waste money on lazor hair removal you can use Nair. Waxing the body out of hair, help?

I'm a guy, and I want to get a wax for the first time. I was wondering, am I supposed to get all naked while waxing? Do they wax evey part of the body if someone wants to [not trying to be gross, but just wondering]. Also, how much would a full body wax cost approximately?

Thx.Waxing the body out of hair, help?
They only uncover the parts getting waxed.. your back, your legs, whatever it is you're getting waxed.

Waxing isn't just a woman's thing now. Swimmers may wax their bodies for speed advantage, pro bike riders wax their legs. Old men will often get their backs waxed. I get a male Brazilian wax. (My girlfriend loves the smooth)

As far as costs go, look up local spas on the web, they often list their pricesWaxing the body out of hair, help?
Well, they cannot wax what is not uncovered. The salons do tend to do a bit at a time, I guess so you won't get all sex crazed from being nekkid....

No it is not normal for wax to do that to your hair.

It could be that your hair is in the cycle of falling out; kinda like how dogs have phases of shedding fur. Its nothing to be afraid of.

How come the more i wax, the faster my hair grows?

I always wax and i do it about every month. I don't use the leg scrubs until after my hair starts growing back because i want my legs to be smooth LOL. So why is it that my hair grows back faster? How come the more i wax, the faster my hair grows?
your body wants to make sure you can keep warm, so it grows hair out to cover your skin

Does waxing increases the growth of the hair?

Certainly not. Waxing is the best process of hair removal. It is the pain which turns some people away from it. But waxing delays the regrowth of hair more than any other method. Don't be afraid and try it.Does waxing increases the growth of the hair?

Does waxing increases the growth of the hair?
No waxing does not increase the hair growth but it gradually decreases the growth. Its safe but u need to bare the pain only for few minutes. This is the only drawback of waxing.
no it does not infact its the best way to remove the hair cause it not only removes the hair but it also removes the dead cells and cleans the body .
no , your skin only has so many hair follicles and you do not accumulate more nor does does it speed up the growth process.
no.. but standing upside down on ur head increases Blood supply to ur head and that might Stimulate hair growth..
    no

How do you stop getting ingrown hairs from waxing or epilating?

    The best thing to do is;

before waxing ensure that you have exfoliated

    exfoliate regularly every 3-4 days

you could use a product called Ingrow Go - an Australian product that you apply a day before waxing and then every 2-3 days after

I have now gone for permanent hair removal - Pulsar which works a treat and my skin is the softest that it has ever been - no ingrown hairs.

Good luck! How do you stop getting ingrown hairs from waxing or epilating?
Definately exfoliating before and 24 hours after. How do you stop getting ingrown hairs from waxing or epilating?
laser treatment is what i did and its painless!

    good luck!
after waxing, use a a cream like hydrocortisone to reduce swelling and irritation. Then use Tend Skin, this product is specifically for ingrown hairs. It can be found in spas and some beauty supply stores.
Exfoliate immediately after treatment and use a mild cleansing scrub.

Tea tree oil gel to try to prevent em happening, and if they do get in there quick with the tweezers and pluck the offending hair out.

How do I remove wax from my dog's hair?

Somehow my dog spilled candle wax all over herself! It's the kind of wax that you put above a flame and it melts and smells great. It doesn鈥檛 get hard like normal candle wax. It鈥檚 more of a greasy feeling. Any ideas for how I can wash this out??How do I remove wax from my dog's hair?
Try just giving a bath and give special emphasis to the waxed area. A good soap should do it and comb/brush while in the tub. Rinse and repeat :)How do I remove wax from my dog's hair?
Ice cubes on the wax...may help it flake out ...otherwise you may have to cut it out.
    Cut it out.
You're going to have to cut it out as best as you can. Then give her a bath and shampoo her 2-3 times to make sure all the grease is out.
I would just shave the dog if it is all over. Some chemicals can be absorbed through the skin. It is just best to get it off.
a brush and lots of Patience. use a mild soap first, and I've heard even lemon juice can help get rid of greasy wax on surfaces, but it wont hurt the dog too try. good luck
Call my crazy but maybe some baby powder? Just a suggestion. If you try it and it works, let me know!

How Do I Put Hair Gel/Wax Into My Hair?

Can someone explain how to apply gel or wax into my hair?

    - do i need to have dry hair or damp hair?

    - do i need to rub it on my hands first, and THEN put it into my hair?

    - do i apply it to the ends of my hair strands?

-are you meant to blowdry your hair afterwards

also, when i attempt to put either, i always end up pulling some of my hair out because the product doesnt glide smoothly through.

    i have thick hair.

i always wonder when i see people effortlessly and smoothly apply gel/wax.

the gel which i have is Brylcreem Gel Endurance Hold

the wax which i have is Toni %26amp; Guy Matt Paste

alternatively, can anyone recommend any brands of gel/wax which can be bought in the UK

finally, can someone tell me if the person in the following picture has gel or wax in their hair?

use a dimed size amount of gel and just rub it in your hair style it how you like and then blow dry.

The guy has a pomade most likely.

my husband uses crew pomade, it has that same look. I personally like pomade better than gel I don't like hair to look wet.How Do I Put Hair Gel/Wax Into My Hair?
First I would have to say if you want a firm hold use the gel on wet hair. When using the wax the hair should be dry. The product in the picture would have to be a matte or a pomade product. Hope this helps
    go crazy with it...experiment,,,it works!

Whats best hair remover, shaving or waxing...?

How do i prevent hair bumps when i shave..and what do men prefer, shaved or not???Whats best hair remover, shaving or waxing...?
Have laser hair removal, prices have dropped significantly and you can be hair free in 4-5 treatments. Like 2 months. Wouldnt it just be nicer to be hairfree and no longer worry about razors or waxing. Waxing will keep you hairfree longer than shaving though and usually no bumps, as long as you dont mind the hot wax or the ripping out of the hair. OUCH. From my experience most men enjoy shaved. I think its a smooth thing.Whats best hair remover, shaving or waxing...?
Well ,2 begin with, waxing is long-lasting and it certainly thins the hair while saving, though quick, it lasts 2-3 days at most and it strengthens the hair. So i would suggest using wax especially if your skin isn't very sensitive. But if you insist on using the razor a good tip 2 prevent hair bumps is 2 use hair conditioner on the area before saving and also 2 clean the razor from the hair while saving. Now, about the men question, they may say they like us natural better but if they see a woman with all this ';fur'; they'll completely freak out! And this honey, is unfortunately from personal experience!!

Waxing my facial hair for boys!?

recently my beard just grew more and im wondering what kind of wax can i buy at my local pharmacy like duane reade to wax my facial hair.Waxing my facial hair for boys!?
    ow!

    no!

just use a hair trimmer then shave

waxing on the face is painful....Waxing my facial hair for boys!?
    Dont wax!
If I were you I would just shave it. We wax our lips, but out hair is very fine. I am sure that it would be much more painful and probably not worth it to wax male mustache hair. You would have to melt it in a pot too, which is like $100, so if you are going to do it, so to a salon and get it done for $7.00.

Any ideas for hair removal using wax?

I have tried the sally hot wax once..but the wax didnt come off easily...I am sick of shaving because hair grows so rapidly..so back to me question..any suggestion for waxing products?

how is cold wax? Is it better than hot?Any ideas for hair removal using wax?
Using some other method. Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams are temporary hair removal methods. Electrolysis and laser hair removal are ';permanent'; hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged. A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://www.hairremoval.inAny ideas for hair removal using wax?
    no wax..

    period.

i had some stuck, literally stuck.. down there. for a while. trust me, shaving or hair removal creams.
Ooh, I don't know about wax. I've seen my mom wax before, and it's PAINFUL! she screams real loud, and it's not because she isn't tolerant of pain, she can take pain, but I asked her and she said it hurts sooo bad. I'd stick to shaving, but my mom used cold wax, so I hope this helps.

Does hair wax make your hair look wet/greasy like gel or does it look dry?

Hair Wax is rather Stiff in many ways and difficult to wash out.

    Try These products

http://www.thegreaseshop.com/servlet/the鈥?/a>Does hair wax make your hair look wet/greasy like gel or does it look dry?
Wax has more of a sheen, so it does make hair look wet and greasy. Pomade is a good alternative, because it's more creamy and doesn't show up as much in hair.Does hair wax make your hair look wet/greasy like gel or does it look dry?
depends which wax u use. check it on the label. There are diff kinds of wax all hav diff effects. Also depnds when u appy it. Whether it is when hair is damp or dry

  • Waxing your pubic hair is very painful?? what else can be done with it??

You can shave, I wouldn't suggest shaving against the grain of your hair every day. This can cause some irritation such as ingrown hairs...you can shave with the grain (the direction the hair grows) everyday, but this will grow out and give you stubble much sooner.

Most depilatory creams (harsh chemicals that dissolve the hair) are not meant to be used in the bikini area and can cause burns or irritation on that thin and sensitive skin. Be sure to read the directions and warnings on the labels and to do a test area on your forearm to make sure you don't have an adverse reaction.

There's also laser hair removal which is expensive but more permanent. You would likely have to undergo several treatments to get the effect you're looking for with laser hair removal.

If you think you have an extreme amount of hair, don't be afraid to talk to you doctor about it, there may be an underlying cause.

Good luck to you!Waxing your pubic hair is very painful?? what else can be done with it??
Ouch, not worth it. You can do a depilatory cream, but that is a lot of bother and sometimes irritation. It also doesn't last very long. A better idea might be to get a really good razor like the Mach 3 and use that along with hair conditioner as a shaving cream.Waxing your pubic hair is very painful?? what else can be done with it??
    use a razor
you could shave it but that can clause razor bumps there are some creams that help prevent them also make sure you use a sharp razor
Veet, it's a cream that you can put on hair leave it on for like 3 min then take it off with a towel, but i think Veet comes with a thing that you can remove the gel with.
Shaving. I tried a brazilian bikini wax once and I will NEVER do it again. That hurt so bad, it was horrible. I just buy really good razors and shave every day or so.
shave it, just exfoliate properly before you shave and itll last long and wont itch when it grows back. but use shaving cream not soap!!!
    nair
waxing it is painful, but its gets smooth finish, right?

you'll get use to it, but boys hardly do this stuff.

    just trim it neatly .
    shave. but is fine hairy.........
I just use a comb and sissors to trim.

Waxing pulling with hair growth? (leg)?

I know that you're suppose to rip the strip against hair growth, but that seems to break a lot of the hairs off for it only lasted about 4 days for me. When i tweeze hair, i pull with the direction of growth and it pulls the root out. So i'm just thinking, would it work with waxing too?? pulling with hair growth. has anyone tried it?Waxing pulling with hair growth? (leg)?

please be thorough with your expierience. i've gone through a second degree burn on my arm and ear piercing for the second time very recently. i survived both, the burn was a bit painful...but its all over. do u think i can handle it? my mother says its the best way to remove hair, but im just really afraid. PLEASE HELP =]Is waxing your leg and arm hair hurt for the first time???
it hurt me like hell and those stupid nair removal things that its the lotion and you just wipe it off...they dont work and they stink! Is waxing your leg and arm hair hurt for the first time???
it is the best way to remove hair if it's done properly by someone who knows what she's doing. it hurts, but it hurts a lot less than using an electric device (the pain is less because the wax takes many more hairs in one move) and i'm sure it is a lot less painful than a second degree burn or a piercing!! just stay motivated trough the process
Yes, it does, but after a while it stops hurting, so just keep plucking! If your scared, you can use rubbing achohol to numb it. After you wax, you will get red bumps all over because of the reaction, just apply a moisturiser right after to calm the irritation. Don't worry, you'll get use to it.
it will hurt....i dont know if it is with every one but one of your arm or leg will hurt a bit more :S

but it will be okay once you get used to it

ps hope you dont have a sensitive skin coz at times there are side affects for sensitive skins
Yeah it does hurt a little, but you won't die, and it lasts longer than shaving :)

As soon as you pull off the wax, put your hand on the part of the skin you just waxed... for some reason it kind of calms the pain, maybe it'll help you too.
    ohmygosh!!!

it hurts so bad because i had my legs done and it was way too painful so i didnt even do my arms! my legs were allll redand had bumps, plus the hair grew back soon. its really not worth the time, money, or pain.

    Best wishes to you!

    xoxo

    adrian :]
Of course it will hurt but it isn't unbearable. The pain lasts a couple of seconds with only a mild irritation the rest of the day while the swelling goes down. It will feel fine the next day the same as eyebrow waxing.
Tell the therapist it is your first time, she will go easier on you. Take a couple of paracetamals an hour before your appoinment and make sure you are mid- cycle.
its hurts pretty bad but not to the point that you have to stop in the middle. it is the best way to remove hair
This has to be a trick question. You are ripping the hair folicals from their skin imbedding. I'm sure it will be like a massage.
At first its like ';Woa! Thats wierd'; but because you have to put down and rip off so many strips the pain soon hurts and you'll find yourself just ripping away merrily!
It is the best way to remove hair, but it hurts a lot more and some people do get rash's.
uh i think it hurts but im a guy so i dont know but ive seen guys get waxed and they yell like hell
well why would you wax you arm? and i'd go with shaving

you'll be fine, it doesn't hurt.
    yes

but pain is not to much
    yes

Do Pro-Wreslters Have Their Body Hair Waxed/Shaved?

I was just wondering about this. Not many pro-wreslters out there today seem to have any body hair. I know of very few who did, one off the top being Goldberg who had a lot of chest hair.

    duh!!!!!!!!

if they didnt it would be to gross to watch and to gross for the superstars to wrestle.... like sweat is hard enough to deal with..... sweat and hair would be just nasty
Yeah, they shave, except for Shawn Micheals obviously, but think about it, would you or anyone want to rumble around a wrestling ring with a hairy guy, I doubt it, but Shawn Micheals is different, because he is a GREAT wrestler and NOBODY disrespects him!
Everyone except Goldberg, Scott Hall and A-Train, they probably shose not to for some strange reason.
I Have Got 1 Word For Ya-------------

    ';DUH!!!!';
    yes i think they wax
yeah they have to because the sweat and hair is nasty
YEAH PRETTY MUCH ALL OF THEM DO IF YOU EVER SAW HOGAN BACK IN HIS EARLY DAYS HE HAD CHEST HAIR AND EVER SINCE HIS WWE WORLD TITLE DAYS HE WAS HAIR LESS. THERES OTHERS TOO. I THINK ITS FOR THE FACT THAT THEY LOOK BETTER WITH NO HAIR SAME REASON WEIGHTLIFTERS SHAVE THEIR BODIES.

How to I style my hair without using gel or wax?

    Other than Hairspray.

And how do I get a long hold with hairspray? How to I style my hair without using gel or wax?
well you could get your hair cut so it will naturally go into a particular style; but if that's not an option walmart, target, walgreens, and other stores will have long lasting hairspray. I would suggest trying aussie, i've had really good luck with all their products.

    it would work the same.

    but would hurt more... :[

why not wax?Is pulling hair out the same as waxing?
It will take forever and It's a lot more pain waxing is quick and easy.
    get it wxed
i agree with the first answer

Do u think i should wax my hair and belly chest hair?

ok, im 16 now and i have hair on my chest and belly(more on my belly) and i want to wax it so that i can get a good tan, and it looks kinda like nerdy i dont know its not curly hair its like straight but not long lol, and i waxed my legs once and the hair grew like not normal and im afraid after the waxing it will look worse.Do u think i should wax my hair and belly chest hair?
The hair on your body is still kinda developing so it's probably not a good idea to mess with it by waxing or it could have some unwanted permanent effects.

Shaving is fine and does NOT affect regrowth, contrary to popular myth. You will get a tan through the hair but it will show better as will your physique, if you are shaved.

If you want to wax in a few years when your hair follicle development has settled down, that's OK.

By the way, I don't care if you are gay or straight but the amount of hair you have or do not have or the amount you remove or do not remove has no connection to your sexuality or gender identification. Ignore anyone who tells you different. The ONLY thing that would indicate that you are gay would be if you were attracted to or formed sexual relations with members of the same gender as yourself and if that's what you do, then that's cool and if you don't, that's also cool.Do u think i should wax my hair and belly chest hair?
The guys that I know shave it. They don't wax. Yea...having it straight would be weird looking! I would shave.
ok... don't wax your legs unless you're a swimmer or something.. its 100% gay. and as for the hair on your stomach and chest.. its totally up to you, whatever makes you comfortable.
    oh god.

one time i new a girl who new a girl whose cousin shaved her WHOLE body.

and she turned into a gorilla.
    dont be gay
dont forget everything u wax or shave grows back . hairer and blacker than before
i think u should shve, not wax it...

this will take longer, but i (and a TON of other girls) don't like guys' chest hair; i like it so they can show of their muscles =D

Does the wax in Pantene cause your hair to break when straightng it?

My hair stylist said that Pantene or Garnier or John Frieda can do more damage to your hair than just flat ironing your hair with other shampoos. I don't use a protectant before straightening and i am worried about my hair because I thought these products were good for your hair. My hair stylist even said that your ends could turn white after they are spilt from it. I want to know if this is true or just a selling point for their products. Plus if it is true could you tell me what shampoos or protectants won't do this to my hair?Does the wax in Pantene cause your hair to break when straightng it?
I had a stylist tell me that also. so I used Back to Basics shampoo and conditioner which is all natural. To my surprise my hair felt allot lighter and silkier due the the lack of wax, and my hair is down to my waste and is extremely thick. It is just expensive. If You are worried about straightening and blow drying your hair, then sleep with large curlers in your hair to flatten any frizzies and give your hair bounce.Does the wax in Pantene cause your hair to break when straightng it?
It can.... use ThermaSilk. It's designed to moisturize your hair heat styling it. It's a little more pricey than Pantene but a worth it investment.

How can we avoid in grown hair and I do wax and how frequent should we exfoliate?

i used to have a huge ingrown problem, due to the fact that i used to shave my legs. Once I began waxing, I saw a dramatic difference. I always shower with a loofa, or exfoliating gloves (depends on my mood) and by using those i dont have an ingrown problem anymore-- waxing is a breeze now! :o)

pantene do a claryfying shampoo it,s for getting rid of styling product build up in hair.ive tried it and thought it was pretty good at washing out hair spray and serum not expensive it,s in a clear bottle
if the styling wax is still there after a usual watch with shampoo and conditioner, try putting the shampoo on dry hair then washing out this stops the shampoo from being diluted and lifts most products and dirt out of the hair.
After trying everything above I think the last option would to either cover the hair with white spirit! Just kidding :-). Try using a nit comb or something with very thin bristles, all through the hair. This should get clumps of it out - then use shampoo and then conditioner afterwards. Wax is awful, try using putty sort of stuff, by Shockwave, or some of the fructis range. Gels or gums/putty's are all easy to wash out. I have had many nightmares with Wax! Urggh!

    Good luck :-)
use shampoo and conditioner if ur not already lol if ur usin sumfin lyk asda smartprice mayb its the standard try loreal kids or sumfin
Use regular shampoo and scrub his head, run your fingers through his hair and than wash it out. You'll probably want to do that again with conditioner. Blow dry it so you know for sure if there's wax left or not.
    Shave it off!
Ok in the salon we would apply a generous amount of shampoo to dry hair and really work it in, then rinse and shampoo as you normally would.....

    This should do the trick

    Good Luck

Hair grows back very thick after waxing?

    upper lip area

    help!

same thing after i put the cream and wait to take off. it goes off but then grows back thicker in a few daysHair grows back very thick after waxing?
Hair grows in cycles. The same follicles don't produce hair immediately upon being waxed.

If you wax enough, the follicles should stop producing hair. I have waxed my legs for a long time and they hardly produce any hair at all now because I have pretty much pulled out the follicle parts along with the hair (you can see a big ol' rootball on the end of the hair). I pluck the miscellaneous hairs with tweezers now.

Perhaps pluck your hairs, rather than wax, to ensure you get the hair AND follicle. Just make sure you get a good hold on the hair and pluck it quickly and firmly so the hair doesn't break.

If you wax your legs does your hair really grow back finer and thiner?

Because I've been waxing for the last few years, and no sign of the promised ';you'll hardly need to wax'; scenario...

If it does work, how long does it take?If you wax your legs does your hair really grow back finer and thiner?
Aveeno's shave and shower gel in one helps out a lot for issues like this.If you wax your legs does your hair really grow back finer and thiner?
Well, it definitely grows back, that's for sure. It doesn't grow back finer or thinner, but at a slower rate. It definitely beats shaving, because then everything grows back like a forest. -_-

I don't know where that rumor came up--but no. It doesn't grow back thinner and finer. But slower.

    Hope that helped!
I think over many years, *some* of the hairs that get pulled out at the roots don't grow back. But no way do you get the permanent results of laser or electrolysis, because those methods destroy the roots.
Yes, because each time your pulling the hair out from the root. This makes the root weaker and the next time the hair grows back it's not as strong. It takes a while to actually notice the difference.
    yes

    I love when guys actually style their hair :}

No, it won't make your hair curly again. Make sure you let your hair cool before styling it, then add product. I suggest Dirt by Jonathan, you can find it at Sephora or on Sephora.com if there isn't a store near you. If you can't get that, most lines have a good molding mud. Finish with a little hair spray, and you should be good.If i use a hair straightner tan use wax to create like a messy effect, will it like make my hair curly again?

Laser Hair removal - It's permanant. What's the best way to remove back and chest hair for men other than shaving and waxing? recommend a product.
    nair
It's called NAIR its a pink bottle. all you do is put it on and wipe it. try it might help.
delapetory cream, like nair or something.
Nair for Men (it comes in a blue and silver bottle)
God given body is beautiful and good. The natural growth of hair in our body is good. Please dont use medicine or chemicals to remove hair from body. It will spoil the skin surface may be soon or in the long run above all it can create a kind of alergy
Well there are laser treatments that ';supposedly'; are best. They remove hair from the root painlessly and ';supposedly'; stop it from regrowing as well. I must admit this last bit has me worried hair growing is natural and stopping it from happening makes me wonder what exactly they do.

I'd strongly advice against wax unless you know the beauty studio you go to are experienced and professional. A friend of mine nearly died of wax burns when he trusted himself into the hands of charlatans.

Dont be absurd! What bobo gave you that idea?Does anyone know when is the next waxing phase of the moon i really want to cut my hair so it could get longer?
You appear to be a victim of the superstition that cutting one's hair during a waxing phase will lead to increased hair growth. It will not do so. Please leave the science section immediately, and do not return until you have obtained an education in the rudiments of science.Does anyone know when is the next waxing phase of the moon i really want to cut my hair so it could get longer?
Just after the Moon is ';new'; it begins its ';waxing'; period. I don't see the connection to the length of your hair.
Well the next waxing phase starts May 25th, but what does that have to do with haircuts?

    Threading/waxing a low hair line?

how can I get rid of my low hair line at HOME?Threading/waxing a low hair line?
I went to school with a girl who had a low hair line then she shaved it off.. later on in the year it started to grow back and it looked really bad! it was all these hairs just sticking up on her forhead.. if you arnt going to keep waxing it or what ever i wouldnt do it....Threading/waxing a low hair line?
You can purchase a home waxing kit. As a cosmetologist, I should tell you that it is definitely frowned upon to do any waxing at home because at home products are terrible, don't get all the hair, and can cause bruising and damage to your skin. But there are some things I like to wax at home as well...but truthfully, I get the bruising and everything, I just deal with it. Go to a professional beauty supply store and buy a wax that is professional. Try Sally's.

NOTE: If the ';low hairline'; you are referring to is on your head, you CANNOT wax it. Those hairs grow much too deep and waxing them can cause lesions and tumors to grow underneath your skin. They can only be removed surgically. The two things you can never ever wax are your head and a man's facial hair. Not to mention, it would look terrible.

How do I get styling wax out of my hair??

I have just had a new haircut that needs wax (or other product) to be used to keep the style but when I wash my hair the wax remains and I have washed it heaps but nothing happens? Any suggestions??How do I get styling wax out of my hair??
Clarifying Shampoo will help. Clarifying takes out any product build-up, chlorine, or minerals in the water (rust, calcium, etc)

But it depends on the kind of wax it is. Sometimes you have to use a clarifying treatment to really get it out. You can buy it at a beauty supply store. It usually comes in a one time use packet. You mix it with hot water, apply for recommended time, and put a shower cap over it to get the full effect. How do I get styling wax out of my hair??
All you can do is call up your stylist and ask.

And... never use that wax again.

How do i use hair wax?

i just bought some paul mitchell dry wax for the first time. i decided that i wanted to go for the natural looking hairstyles. until now, i've been using gel, and i was trying to figure out how to get the wax from the ';jar'; onto my hands... i really have no idea how to use wax!How do i use hair wax?
Well that is a funny question. Wax is best used on dry hair.

Wash your hair dry it or let it dry then take a bit of the hair wax rub your hands together till it's kinda warm enough to apply to your hair. Don't start in the front or you will have a lot of wax in that area. Kinda disburse it from the crown away first to get it into your hair and off most of your hands. Then start styling it a bit with your hands. It will then take shape wax and gel are not the same but you can use gel before hand just brush or break up the hardness of the gel setting first. Or you will have a mess on your hands and head.

I also suggest you ask your hairstylist if it would be a good product for you and how to use it best for your hair typeHow do i use hair wax?
    u comb it though~~!~! DUH!
Take a pea sized amount and roll it around until it is warm. Get a little on your fingers and use it to create pieceyness on the ends of your hair.

Seen 40 year old Virgin? When Steve Carell gets his chest hair waxed he bleeds! Does this happen for real?

Take a lot of guts to want to rip multiple hairs out from the root.

OOOUCCCHHHEEE!Seen 40 year old Virgin? When Steve Carell gets his chest hair waxed he bleeds! Does this happen for real?
Yes it can be painful sometimes, and yes some people bleed. The trick to not bleeding is to pull the skin taunt so it only rips out the hair and not chunks of skin with the hair.Seen 40 year old Virgin? When Steve Carell gets his chest hair waxed he bleeds! Does this happen for real?
Yes it can hurt that much depending on where you are getting waxed and how deep the roots are. So yes some people do bleed because the roots are so deep that when they get ripped out it causes bleeding. Even some people bleed a little when they get their eye brows waxed.
loll, it doesnt really hurt orr bleed.

i guess it does hurt the first time, but its momentary %26amp;%26amp; it stops being so bad after you waxx a few times :)
Yep. The bleeding doesn't last long, though. It happens every time I wax my eyebrows.

waxing is definitely the best, but seeing as you aren't allowed..Veet or Nair hair removal cream is alright, it doesn't hurt at all, just dissolves the hairs. if you have dark hair there will always be dark spots where the hair is underneath..thats why waxing is the best way to go because it totally removes the hairs and they grow back thinner and lighter.

i would persuade your mum or whoever to let you get waxedWhat is the best thing to do for hair removal besides waxing?
hey have you used ';MySpring It'; facial hair remover. Its just a hair removal spring which removes your hair from its roots without damaging your skin. Lot many people have reviewed it so good. I too use that product. Its less painful when compared with other hair removal solutions. I give it thumbs up.
    try lazer hair remover
shaving if kind of inevitable but you can almost eliminate it. there's this new product called ';Smooth Away';, its basically a smooth pad and when you rub the pad on the area that you want hair removed the hair thins off and it even removes the after shave hair spots (exfoliates greatly). but it only works on light stubbles, so shave first and then the next day don't shave again just use the pad. the product can be found in places like CVS pharmacy Walgreen's and Target and i think it's around $15. i don't rerecommend using this if you have diabetes because the pad contains chemical sugar. it's COMPLETELY PAIN FREE but it will take alot of rubbing (if a have a large area to cover). it's worth a try..but it's not permanent. it kind of tricky to use on armpits:) veet and nair can result in permanent skin damamge if left on for too long...it's a risk i would'nt take.

  • Is it gay to shave or wax your body hair?

I'm the kind of guy that hates having body hair that is not on top of my head. and I would like to get rid of it and I would like to know if it is gay to shave or wax your body hair?Is it gay to shave or wax your body hair?
It isn't gay... nothing is gay except being gay. But you shouldn't have to doubt your sexuality just because of vanity or hygiene. I know plenty straight guys that are very well groomed and many straight guys that have shaved or continue to shave their unwanted body hair.Is it gay to shave or wax your body hair?
OMG! NO! Body builders do it all the time.
My opinion I love it when a guy shapes his eye brows (I hate uni-brows)

    shaves his

    ears

    neck (please shave this!)

    chest

    back

face (if you can't grow a beard then shave it. nothing is grosser then a guy that can only grow half a mustache)

I think it is weird when a guy shaves

    armpits

    arms

    legs

    Just my opinion
I don't see how removal of unwanted hair has anything to do with sexual preference. Lots of athletes do it whether they are gay or not.
not really if you're really hairy.

    lolz

just make sure no one knows

    ;]
It's not necessarily gay, but if you shave it, it grows back thicker.
    of course not!

If you're comfortable with your sexual choice, that shouldn't bother you at all.

I and many women I know happen to find that one of the kindest thing a man can do to his woman, as you stay cleaner. Specially if you leave in areas with hot climate. Nothing grosser than armpits dripping with sweat.

And in some areas you don't even need to shave/wax: trimming will do.

    Hope I helped.
no not gay at all! actuly hott!
    no its not

    nothing is really ';gay';
No, there is nothing ';gay'; about removing body hair. The thing about it is that Western society looks down upon men involving themselves in activities that are often deemed de-masculizing or feminine. This is one of those activities.

However, it is what YOU want and what you like, not what others want of you. You may get called ';gay'; or teased for it, but chances are (unless people you're incredibly hairy all over), that people won't even notice: some guys are just naturally smooth.

But a word of caution: when you shave, it does grow back a little more coarse than before, and waxing is slightly painful.

And lastly, kudos to you for being man enough to break free of societal stereotypes. There is nothing gay with this. What is wrong, however, is people not allowing men to be expressive.
Theres nothing gay about removing body hair. Its down to personal preference. Do what you want. Why would some elses opinon matter anyway!

Anyone that tells you it is need to grow up.
Your a man you have body hair. Back hair is gross but, once again your a Man why look like a little boy....
People here say it isn't gay. But beware, I knew someone that did that and everyone thought he was gay. He didn't even act gay at all, simply being single and shaving all body hair led everyone to thinking it.

That would be the most awkward feeling in the world if you were that guy (chances aren't that high, haha!).
    no.

If you go in the dictionary

    and define gay,

    it will not say

verb. to shave or wax your body hair.

    Hair is annoying.

If you want to get rid of it, get rid of it.
hmm depends - if you are super hair best to wax it
    yes
the way i look at it is shaving is fine, since we shave our face. But waxing....
Like many of the other answerers have said in one way or another, the only thing that is gay is being gay.

I am a straight married male who goes for full body waxing every few months when I can afford it. My wife was a little taken aback when I got my legs waxed just because it's not ';the norm'; in the Western Hemisphere and I didn't tell her beforehand. However, once she got used to it, she actually realy liked me being smooth.

Oh and by the way, the reason I get waxed seems to be the same reason as you want to - that is I just got sick of being so hairy. It's not some sexuality thing, it's not some deep psychological problem either, it's just that I prefer to be smooth for the look and feel. Also, no one seems to notice, even people that know me and even when I wear shorts in the summer.

To quote the clich茅 from the Nike people, JUST DO IT!
I trim my hair and I'm not gay. Do whatever makes you comfortable mate.
    Yes it VERY f'ing gay!

    Ha ha

Actually, a friend of mine was a male dancer so he shaved from the crack on out. It really depends. Bodybuilders wax too. If you got a good body no one would care. It would look funny on me cause I'm old.
hey brandon, how you doing? tell ya now darl its not gay if you shave or was your hair, i know alot of straight men who do it so yeah dont worry about it darl, if you dont want a head off hair shave it off as waxing may hurt or unless you like pain lol, i wouldnt worry bout it too much ok darl

Is it ok to go to a Hairdressers with gel/wax in your hair and expect them to either wash it before cutting or not wash it and cut through it?

i think you should at least wash your hair before going and getting your hair done especially if you use gel (i didn't think people used gel anymore). But yeah if i was a hairdresser i would be highly upset if i had to not only do someones hair but undo the mess they walked in with.

it's common cutesy these people do like probably about 10 heads a day we can at least help them out by washing our own even though they will wash when we get there.
I almost always go to the hairdresser with product in my hair. They expect to wash it out, it's not an inconvenience to them. In fact, it makes it easier for you AND them, because it lets them see your hair styled the way you like it when you get there so they don't have to guess
They can cut your hair with it in, it may just be harder...but they also can wash your hair before they cut it, it only takes a few mins longer.

    please answer?!:)

I did that once with gel in my hair. She just squirted water on it and rubbed it through the gel and just cut it like that, my hair was really fluffy afterwards though
Usually they will wash your hair before they cut it so it will make no difference what hair products you have in your hair.
I once went to the hairdressers with the same predicament and they made me wash it first. I of course had to pay for it. Any decent hairdresser shouldn't be too bothered...
yeah the hairdresser would wash it for you that's what they are their for so don't worry about it.
yes. make sure you bring a hammer and chisel with you.

are you looking for the scene hair that is really BIG hair?

because, to do that, you just dry your hair, then start about 3 inches from your scalp, and use a comb and comb down. keep doing that till you have all your hair, and trust me it will look HORRIBLE like a rats nest or something, but it'll get fixed. Then, use the comb and gently comb the top layer back to cover up the rats nest so you can't see it. It'll be all poofy and big. You can hairspray it a little bit to keep the hold, otherwise it may get flatter, otherwise just scrunch it throughout the day and it'll go back to being big.
    mousse?

getting really big scene hair doesn't stay without some sort of molding substance.

you can get low scene hair by backcombing alone but you will have to backcomb more which can be very damaging to your hair.

._. you could try using youtube for videos; evenif it shows you how to do it with hairspray, general brain power will allow you to develope your own technique without it.
Cream pomade is good for this. Don't put too much in though, just a little bit will hold your hair quite well. Putting it in when your hair is wet then blow drying is a good way to do it.
I have ';scene'; hair the choppy layers %26amp; everything.

well at least your one of the few guys who know that makes their hair look greasy, I would use styling muse, it holds well and doesn't leave shine or residue
try using conditioner only...it makes your hair look good and naturally styled..
Get a choppy haircut and straighten the crap out of it with an iron in all directions.. make it stick out.
Just put some hairclipsin it to keep it in it place!
use a dry look gel, or a different type of hairspray, ur hair will look natural but still hold in shape
wax doesnt look greasy at all...take a shower
spiked hair gel has a really hard hold
constant care with water is the only other way,

  • Waxing upper lip hair?

im going to use a at home wax kit but what brand should i use like sally hanson, should i use hot wax or cold wax??? im 14 but im just going to start waxing and when i turn like 16 have it lazerly removedWaxing upper lip hair?
I use sally hanson hot wax for face. It's a little more sensitive. Make sure that area is nice and clean before you do it, it wont grab alot of hairs if it's not. Also, don't go over the same area twice, if it doesn't get all the hairs you want out the first time, do it the next day, when you skin has calmed down.Waxing upper lip hair?
So ignore what people said about hair growing thicker when you wax it because that is not true. If they had researched they would know that waxing makes hair slower to grow. Personally I do not wax but thread my upper lip because it is a lot cheaper it does the some thing. Here is a site that tells you how to thread. http://www.forever-beauty-tips.com/lip-hair-threading.html
the stuff you get at the drug store or super market is not any good at all.. Go to Sally's beauty supply and get the GiGi waxing system...
if you haven't waxed your lip before, i wouldn't start. i was going to before, but i've heard that afterwards the hair starts to grow back darker and thicker. they have hair bleaches that you can use to color the hairs so that they aren't really easy to see.
i have the sally hansen one and it wrks pretty well and it reduces hair growth as well so it doesnt grow back as fast and as much as b4 it lessens it... and it leaves ur skin smooth and conditioned...oh but its not a wax its a hair removal creme and i suggest u use tat better u can go up to a week and a half with out any hair growth meaning u wont have to aply often
it will make you see stars
Waxing at home for the first time can be tricky. I would try a depoiltary creme first. They are much easier to use especially at your age. Once you start this it's something you have to keep up regularly.

P.S When you eventually get your hair lasered you need to let it grow in (at least 1 inch) for each treatment and most people need at least two treatments. Just something to think about.
just wait til 16. cause if you wax, it will keep coming back, but thicker. and thicker.
Don't do it because if you do it will only grow in thicker!!!!! Don't bother asking how i know this.

What does a brazilian wax look like with hair?

When getting a brazilian wax, do they remove hair from your labia?

I have removed hair from my bikini area and it hurts. The only thing that is stopping me from getting a brazilian is the thought of pain. When getting a brazilian wax, do they remove hair from your labia?
If you can do the bikini area, you can do the brazilian =o) My first time getting waxed was brazilian, though I get the ';strip tease'; which they just leave a little thin strip of hair. First time i didn't know what to expect, but it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Just be sure to go to someone that is recommended to you. If you go to just anyone they might not be great and you can get bruising and red bumps. I go to the same lady...and each time it gets easier, plus it's friggin sexy! You'll love it! You may be a little sore for that first day, but that's normal, after that you'll be doin bathroom breaks all the time to check out how sexy you look! When getting a brazilian wax, do they remove hair from your labia?
brazillians hurt like hell. I have been thru labor twice and I would do that quicker than I would ever have another brazillan. It makes you dizzy afterwards because your body kicks in so many endorphins to kill the pain.

a brazilian means hair off everywhere (pretty much from your belly button to your a*s*s hole...no joke....it hurts).

    Waxing shoulder/back hair?

I have short fine hair on my shoulders and back which although not very noticable, annoys me as having dark hair makes it stand out a little and I would rather it not be there - I'm considering waxing it for the summer - would this method effectively remove the hair for a long period of time? (it doesnt seem to be growing). When the hair grows back will it eventually be longer than it was originally? Anything else?

Thanks a lot for the help and a very merry christmas to you all!Waxing shoulder/back hair?
Waxing the hair off will hurt........but the hair takes longer to grow back because the follicles are pulled from deep down to the roots. I have seen people who wax all the time and their hair has actually grown lighter in color over the years, and for some the hair that grows back is thinner as time goes on. NADS works great for hair removal if you have someone who can assist you!Waxing shoulder/back hair?
if it hardly shows, dont worry about it..because when you wax, itll grow back thicker and you have to keep doing it-which is a pain..trust me.

    Waxing my pubic hair?

    well ya it'd hurt more.

    wow. people are stupid.

i mean, whats even the point of shaving or ect. your private..
use nair [in shower remover]. instead of waxer.
I guess you could wax it, but why bother, it hurts like hell. I would just shave it. No pain involved

Is it safe to wax or epilate stomach hair during pregnancy?

I'm 19 weeks along and have grown alot more hair on my stomach - is waxing or epilating safe or not?Is it safe to wax or epilate stomach hair during pregnancy?
according to my doc, no waxing is necessary. It will go away after you deliver. And from the sound of it, excess hair sounds like higher testerone levels...(boy)

but that's just an old wives' taleIs it safe to wax or epilate stomach hair during pregnancy?
I am really sorry but I cant find anything what so ever on this subject. I wouldnt do it though, just to be on the safe side until you get a chance to speak to your midwife, I usually shave mine lol
I think waxing is safe but you should ask your doctor before doing it.
im not sure if you can , however when i was pregnant i had the same thing , and although i had my legs waxed , bu tthe beauty therapist wouldnt wax my stomach , she said it was no possible , and would go , and most of it did,so unless the rules have changed its not safe , to be honest i foudn things even more sensitive during pregnancy , and if you were to try to epilate your stomach it may well be very very painful more so than normal.

Perhaps you could just bleach it with jolen until you deliver...?

best of luck anyway in what ever you decide

can i add please don tshave it i did , it then wont go at all as you have stimulated the folicle more , if you shave it now you will have to shave it for ever , if you can put up with it......obviously its up to you but i never had a hairy stomach until i shaved as i coudlnt wax , it then didnt go away so now i have to epilate it all the time and its getting better , just to clarify my youngest of 3 babies is 6 now....and that is years....lol so please try to just ignore it some how until you deliver....
i wouldnt i have the same problem but if your that worried shave it dont wax it. i think sometimes in motherhood you have to do things you dont want to i know it doesnt make you feel sexy or anyhthing but once your little one is here then is the best time becasue you dont have to worry about harming her or him. good luck and congrads
