Is waxing your leg and arm hair hurt for the first time???

please be thorough with your expierience. i've gone through a second degree burn on my arm and ear piercing for the second time very recently. i survived both, the burn was a bit painful...but its all over. do u think i can handle it? my mother says its the best way to remove hair, but im just really afraid. PLEASE HELP =]Is waxing your leg and arm hair hurt for the first time???
it hurt me like hell and those stupid nair removal things that its the lotion and you just wipe it off...they dont work and they stink! Is waxing your leg and arm hair hurt for the first time???
it is the best way to remove hair if it's done properly by someone who knows what she's doing. it hurts, but it hurts a lot less than using an electric device (the pain is less because the wax takes many more hairs in one move) and i'm sure it is a lot less painful than a second degree burn or a piercing!! just stay motivated trough the process
Yes, it does, but after a while it stops hurting, so just keep plucking! If your scared, you can use rubbing achohol to numb it. After you wax, you will get red bumps all over because of the reaction, just apply a moisturiser right after to calm the irritation. Don't worry, you'll get use to it.
it will hurt....i dont know if it is with every one but one of your arm or leg will hurt a bit more :S

but it will be okay once you get used to it

ps hope you dont have a sensitive skin coz at times there are side affects for sensitive skins
Yeah it does hurt a little, but you won't die, and it lasts longer than shaving :)

As soon as you pull off the wax, put your hand on the part of the skin you just waxed... for some reason it kind of calms the pain, maybe it'll help you too.
ohmygosh!!!

it hurts so bad because i had my legs done and it was way too painful so i didnt even do my arms! my legs were allll redand had bumps, plus the hair grew back soon. its really not worth the time, money, or pain.

Best wishes to you!

Of course it will hurt but it isn't unbearable. The pain lasts a couple of seconds with only a mild irritation the rest of the day while the swelling goes down. It will feel fine the next day the same as eyebrow waxing.
Tell the therapist it is your first time, she will go easier on you. Take a couple of paracetamals an hour before your appoinment and make sure you are mid- cycle.
its hurts pretty bad but not to the point that you have to stop in the middle. it is the best way to remove hair
This has to be a trick question. You are ripping the hair folicals from their skin imbedding. I'm sure it will be like a massage.
At first its like ';Woa! Thats wierd'; but because you have to put down and rip off so many strips the pain soon hurts and you'll find yourself just ripping away merrily!
It is the best way to remove hair, but it hurts a lot more and some people do get rash's.
uh i think it hurts but im a guy so i dont know but ive seen guys get waxed and they yell like hell
well why would you wax you arm? and i'd go with shaving

you'll be fine, it doesn't hurt.
yes

but pain is not to much
