Will waxing make your arms more hair then before?

i want to wax my hairy arms!!

but then i don't want it to grow back more hairyWill waxing make your arms more hair then before?
Nope, waxing makes your hair grow in thinner and finer than before, you probably wont notice the first time, but as time goes on you will notice a change. If you want proof many waxing kits have a question and answer paper in them and one of the most commonly asked questions are if your hair will grow in thicker and darker and its false. You can also do some research online (like look it up on different products websites). Will waxing make your arms more hair then before?
Generally speaking for most people, waxing any part of the body causes hair to grow back finer, lighter, sparser and more slowly. These effects vary from person to person and even across different areas of the same person's body.

There is no problem waxing your arms - all the salons offer it as many women and men, especially those from the Asian races have hair on thair arms which is thicker and darker than they would wish.

The other answerer is right about not noticing the effects of waxing on re-growth after one waxing, you will need to do it several times before you see an effect.

I recommend going to a salon rather than doing it yourself. These people know what they are doing, so the results will be better and the process less painful.

By the way, it is a TOTAL MYTH that shaving makes hair grow back thicker. However, the appearance may seem that way because what you see re-growing is a cut thick blunt end after shaving. When you wax, the hair is pulled out from the root and therefore a naturally tapered and therefore much thinner end regrows out of the skin.
from my own experience, waxing doesn't actually make my arms even more hairy than it was before, it just makes the hair thinner and less visible.

i recently started using epilator. it's pretty convenient. the only problem is that sometimes you can't get all the hair and you have to either pluck/shave the shorter hair. i think it's definitely better than wax because it's just faster and requires less preparation/clean up time. i do have to warn you that it does hurt at first, but you get used to it. it's becoming more popular now. i listed one link from bed bath and beyond. it's quite pricey. i'm sure you'll be able to find a cheaper one at CVS or something.

another hair remover that i saw is called nono from sephora. it's quite fascinating. it removes hair using heat but it doesnt burn your skin. pretty much like laser hair removal at home. i havent tried it yet. it's even more pricey than the epilator, but it looks pretty promising. just go to sephora's webpage and look for their hair removal section product nono! i think that's how it's spelled.

hope this helps! good luck!
i dont even think you are supposed to wax your arms or even shave. It may come back really ugly or something.
