regular undies or a thong that you wouldn't mind getting a little bit of wax on.


if your hair is long, trim it as a courtesy to about a half inch in length. take an aspirin about 20 minutes before you go to help with the pain (it feels like a slap). the aesthetician will pull your underwear in depending on how much hair you want gone. you'll feel a fair bit of heat, they'll press the strip down and tear it off pretty fast, breathe in as they smooth the strip on and exhale as they take it off. they may have to go over the same spot twice (they'll just press the strip down quick and take it off), or go in with a pair of tweezers when it's over. they'll put some soothing lotiony stuff and maybe some baby powder. it might chafe and be red and painful for a few hours afterwards, but it should be fine by the next morning.


for a first timer i'd recommend a regular bikini wax if you just want to neaten yourself up, but if you want everything gone then you have to get a brazilian-be prepared for it to hurt!
