I get mine waxed, and like shaving, the more you do it the thicker the hair is.Upper lip hair....continued lol. waxing?
Everyone is different, so theres no telling how your hair will grow in. You'll never know if you dont try it. The answerer above me had it right when she said that the hair on your upper lip is (usually) finer. I dont think you'll youll have a problem.

Get it done at a salon first, to get a feel for it. If you try it at home use a microwavable hard wax. It sticks to the hairs and not the skin, so its less painfull. Plus, you wont have a sticky residue (which can lead to breakouts), and you wont need to cut muslin strips. You can buy a huge box of popsicle sticks at walmart for $2, and use them as applicators. Just dont try and wax your brows with hard wax. Its fine for someone well seasoned or licensed, but if you mess up, your brow are pretty much toast (because hard was gets HARD and you cant pull the hairs out of the wax if you put too much on, as you could with soft wax).
It will come back, but I doubt it will come back with those dark lumps unless you've shaven before and it's already thick.. but I doubt that. You can do it at home, it's not that hard. Just follow the directions on any wax box/kit and yeah. There's waxing strips that all you gotta do is cut it and warm it up using your own body warmth (like rubbing the wax using your hands) and place it on your skin, I find those to be better than the wax you have to apply on your skin yourself. It's faster and easier with waxing strips.
The hair on your lip is usually finer than the hair on your eyebrows, so probably now. You can try to do it at home, waxing isnt as hard as everyone makes it to be, but since this is your first time getting it waxed your best bet would be to goto a pro.

I don't know if anyone has suggested this before, but before you wax it, you could try using facial creme bleach, its better than waxing because you wont have to wait untill its long and hairy again to wax it. And if its still notible when the hair is bleached, then you can allways get it waxed again.
