There's no such thing as permanent waxing. Waxing just yanks the hair out by the roots; it still grows back, just takes longer for it to be visible, since it has to grow the extra length below the skin that shaving doesn't touch.

Permanent hair removal is laser or electrolysis, and even those can fail (facial hair, for example, can be tough to permanently get rid of). Laser isn't cheap, or quick -- usually you have to go 4-6 times, several weeks apart, since hair grows in cycles, and you want to catch all the hair follicles during their growth cycles for it to be effective. (You basically fry the hair follicle, using the hair in it to conduct heat from the laser into the follicle itself; so you have to have hair in it to work.) Prices vary depending on what area you're having done; smaller areas take less time and so cost less, for example. Upper lip or eyebrow might be $600-$800, while lower legs might be $1500-$2000. Check with local laser hair removal clinics for pricing in your area.Is permanent waxing of body hair harmful??how costly is it??...and any precautions needed after that??
permanent waxing is really harmful as it closes the pores of the body stopping the prespiration to get hold inside the body itself which may get worst in the days to come. Thus better avoid.
Don't do it if you have a low immune system (you can get an infection). Otherwise, not that I know of.
