Does shaving the hair on your body really make it thicker? Does waxing make it thinner?

Shaving doesn't make hair grow back thicker. It cuts the hair in a blunt edge so when the stubble grows out it just seems that way.

Repeated waxing over time does weaken the hair follicle so the hair grows back thinner or not at all.

No and no. shaving just slices the hair at an odd angle at the skin's surface, so When it grows back it gives the illusion of thickness. waxing just works better because it removes the hair and the root, so it takes loger to grow back.Does shaving the hair on your body really make it thicker? Supposedly shaving does not make the hair thicker, it just makes it feel thicker bc shaving with a razor gives you a blunt cut. The new hair seems coarser to me though.
