Waxing facial hair: pros and cons?

Okay, for starters, I'm a girl, and I am somewhat ';hairy';. I have problems with hair on my cheeks, upper lip, chin, and I have sideburns. I use Surgi Facial Hair removal creme on my upper lip/chin, and it works great. But on my sideburns/cheeks...not so much. I hate the kind of stiff feeling it leaves. I would really like to get rid of all of this, and I definitely know shaving is not the way to go - never have, never will.

I can't afford laser, so please, don't bring it up.

I actually am curious to know about waxing...I can handle the pain. But what are the pros and cons of using it? And what brands are better than others? (I'm looking for something like the nair face wax strips) I'm looking to remove the hair on my sideburns and cheeks, will waxing be okay for that?

Thanks! =DWaxing facial hair: pros and cons?
It actually works. I know someone whose daughter actually shaved her sideburns, lip, etc. So it got pretty bad. When her mother realized what happened, she took her to the beauty saloon and she had her wax her facial hair. It took a while for the hair to become soft again. But it worked!

So, yes, it works. I don't know about any brand, as I'm French and don't know brands in the US. But I do know the Nair brand, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Just try that one and then another one if this one doesn't work for you. Just be sure you use it the right way.
