What is the best brand of pomade or wax to use for hair?

I have medium length hair with side-swept bangs and layers. I'm looking for a decently priced pomade or wax to make my layers stand out. I have healthy thick dark brown hair btw. What is the best brand of pomade or wax to use for hair?
exactly the type of hair that i have; i had alot

of layers just a while back. use this product

it will make it noticeable that you have layers.

also id say maybe straighten your hair really

good but not to the point where it gets burnt

then put the pomade on the tips of your

fingers and apply to the bottom of your hair

where the layers are at. you really dont need

to put it all over becasue then it will just give

it a greasy non washed look.

hope this helped :)What is the best brand of pomade or wax to use for hair?
My boyfriend uses this pomade called Pro Style (or something similar) in a small black container. Really cheap, works great, even I use it sometimes when I'm out of hair spray, and definitely wont flake. Make sure you check out the Black hair care section of any pharmacy or store. They have a million products to choose from and any will work for you because you have dark hair.
I would have to say, go to a salon and talk to a stylist and see what they recommend for your hair type. I have short, extremely, difficult hair. I use Bed Head Manipulator for my hair and I have no complaints.
